Versatile and easy to use for a variety of photography needs
I bought this light for my small online reselling business. It is a very nice light that is easy to use and is good quality. It came with diffuser panels and a remote and phone holder. I do not use any of these as I just needed a light. The panels are a little difficult to snap on and take off which is why I don’t fool with them. I take several pictures everyday and depending on what I am photographing the panels sometimes help but oftentimes are not needed. Unlike a previous light ring I had this one has an adjustable knob on the back of it that I can easily adjust brightness and it can also turn from side to side which is helpful in eliminating shadows. The tripod stand is very stable and easy to adjust. I find it very functional and a good value for the money. I recommend this light for close up photos as well as distance ones.

Solid, bright, good color. User interface is a bit lacking.
I’ve bought several Neewer lights of various sorts and they’ve all been excellent quality; this is no exception. I work remotely and needed brighter and more natural colored lighting for my teleconferences. This is perfect! If I turned it all the way up I think I’d be blinded, but the brightness is very finely adjustable. The ring contains both cool white and warm white LEDs; there is a knob to control the balance, and I’m able to get a perfectly natural looking tone on camera. Tripod is appropriately built to handle the weight of the ring. It comes with a cleverly designed high quality carrying bag that I probably will never use but can’t bear to get rid of because it’s just so nice! My only real nits are first, there is a green power LED that flashes unless it’s paired with Bluetooth (this is not mentioned in the manual, I had to do a lot of searching online). It’s very distracting. I don’t want to use Bluetooth, especially since reviewers of the Neewer iOS app give it very low ratings, so I covered the LED with a few layers of black tape. Second, it’s a little bit hard to turn it on and off by hand without bumping the ring position (and without staring straight into the bright light). If it weren’t for those two nits this would be a solid five stars.

I’ve had this light for a few years on the tripod and now that I am opening my own tattoo studio I bought them for all 3 stations to mount on the wall (mounts bought separately through Amazon)as the brightness is soooo good! Best light I’ve ever used and I have used 4 other models and nothing compares.

I own a tattoo studio, and have bought MANY brands of ring lights as they all break soon enough. This one is by far the best quality for the price range. Ive been using it for a few months and no issues. The knobs/ joints are better quality than other brands. I will be repurchasing when the time comes.
