This is a nice desk pad. The galaxy print goes over the stitching, so you don’t have a sharp contrast edge. It feels a little thinner than my last desk pad. There does seem to be a top and bottom print to this pad, but it does look good either way. I feel like it’s thinner than my last pad, but still several millimeters thick. I use it as part mouse pad, part giant coaster, so it absorbs and hides any condensation. There was an intense rubber smell the first day or so but it faded. My desk is cold so this helps keep my forearms warmer when working in a cold office. This pad is short, only 11 inches tall, so I do wish i could get a full sized one for my whole desk.
