Compact without sacrificing power, heat is underwhelming though
This comes packaged nicely and includes a carrying bag for the massager and attachments. I personally prefer keeping it in the box since I use it at home and like the fitted compartments for each attachment.This charges via usb-c which gets bonus points. It takes a couple hours to fully charge from a completely drained battery, but I can get multiple uses off one charge.I have the full size version (without the thermalcool) and I feel the way the heads attach to this one is an upgrade. The full size version has a special shape that allows the heads to attach one way which made it difficult to line up. This mini massage gun has a screw on attachment point which makes it easier and more secure in my opinion.This is easy to operate but, I did have to pull up the instructions online since there aren’t any in the box too see what the colors and power levels were. You can quickly find them via a QR code (which I’m generally not a fan of), but it also comes with the direct link to the instructions which I feel is the more secure option.This has 5 speed settings and I liked the variety provided. To turn on, you hold the power button for a couple of seconds and it starts on the lowest speed. I tend to get really bad knots throughout my legs and I like the lowest level because it’s gentle enough to work on areas that are a little more sensitive then work my way up. For me personally, I haven’t found a need for anything over the 3rd level, but it’s nice to know I have stronger options if needed.I have mixed feelings on the thermacool attachment. I do like that you can turn on the heat or cold without having to engage the massaging feature. There are two cold and two hot levels. The cooling was better than I thought it would be, but if I have it in constant contact with my skin, the it doesn’t stay a constant cool temperature. I use this without the massage feature since the cooling/heating effect isn’t very noticable when it’s massaging. I just use direct contact and glide it down my leg as needed.I personally prefer heat and this is where the thermacool was lacking for me and I didn’t find it was a very functional feature. Yes, you can tell the head gets warm but not enough to feel through leggings and after a few seconds on direct skin, it just feels like it’s body temperature.For the price point, it’s still a good value for what you get. I just hope they get the heat dialed up a little more on the next one.

Renpho continues their quality product line with their mini thermacool massage gun.This massage gun comes with a separate powered head unit that has cooling and heating functions within the head unit. You must charge this head unit separately from the massage gun.The cooling effect works well. I believe it uses fresh air movement across a metal surface and that’s how it obtains the cooling effect. (This is an assumption of mine. I do not truly know.)The heating effect works well also. It is a warm sensation on the lower level and is intensified when you initiate the higher heating level.The power of the massage gun is pretty good, in fact, it is considered great when compared to others this size.The size of the unit is compact, easy to maneuver, and easy to throw into your luggage.Overall, the quality is great! I thoroughly enjoy Renpho products and this one is no different.*5 stars!
