[Industry-Leading N-Type 25% Efficiency] Engineered with premium 16BB cell and N-Type technology, the Renogy 300 watt solar panel achieves 25% conversion efficiency – significantly outperforming standard 9BB 300w solar panel’s 22.5% efficiency. This means you get more usable power from the same sunlight exposure, especially beneficial in space-constrained RV installations or cloudy conditions.
[Lightweight & Foldable] At just 18.74 lbs (17% lighter than standard 300w portable solar panel) and folding to 23.2”x29.3”x3.2” in space-saving design. Perfect for camping, RV trips, or emergency backup. The Renogy solar panels deliver 960Wh daily (sunlight-dependent) and fold easily for storage or transport. Take reliable solar power anywhere!
[IP67 Waterproof & Extreme Durability] This Renogy foldable solar panel features IP67 waterproof with hail-resistant ETFE coating and premium N-type solar cells for highest efficiency and durability. The solar panels for camping withstand extreme weather (-40°F~185°F), like hail, storms, snow, and scorching heat while delivering reliable power for your RV trips, camping adventures, or off-grid needs.
[1-Minute Setup] No tools needed! Unfold, prop up the rust-proof kickstands, and get power in 60 seconds. IP68 connectors work with most portable power stations and batteries.
[Uninterrupted Power Even Under Partial Shading] – Shadows from trees or clouds? Not an issue. This Renogy rv solar panel features parallel wiring that ensures individual shadows won’t diminish the overall efficiency of the interconnected panels. Backed by a 3-year output & material and workmanship.

Great external panels for van life
Exactly as described, sturdy, seemingly very high quality and easy to use as an extension to the solar array on my van. Performance seems decent given that I can max performance at about 250 watts with the right sun angle. I bought this one over the similar 400 watt version because it has the newer solar cells and is slightly smaller and easier to transport / store. I also like that it has bumpers on the corners to protect the panels and I also find the padded case to be really good quality. Note: the panels do not come with any cords and you need to buy that separately, depending on how you’re connecting the panels. Highly recommend due to size, value and performance.

So far so good.
So far it works well. I’m using this with an anker solix everfrost cooler. On a cloudy day I’ve gotten nothing to as low as 7 watts and on a sunny day in direct sunlight I’ve gotten 70-80 watts. Not bad. When I take it camping I’m expecting it to run the cooler all day and charge the battery for night. It does not come with a cable, and I purchased a 10’ 12ga cable separately.FYI the solar panels are out when this folds, I was expecting the solar panels to be inside. It does come with a carrying case that should protect the panels when traveling. Time will tell. It’s built sturdy and I’m planning on staking it down because it’s so windy where we camp. The folding legs are metal, so it should stake well.

Very effecient panel with small gripes
This is a nice solar panel that is new in the Renogy solar suitcase lineup. The panel works well with better efficiency thanks to the new N-type cells. I was able to get 270-280 watts into my power station in full sun, but not a perfect angle.Pros:Good outputLight and moveable 18 lbsQuick setup and take downGreat price at about $1/ wattNice build like all the suitcase lineupCons:Despite complaints about the 220 and 400 watt versions having unadjustable stands, the new 300 watt and 100 watt have the same issue. Using the stands will create too severe an angle for me, even in January, at well over 30%While the new cover material is nicer on the 300/100 models, for some reason, they shrunk the wire pouch in the front by over 50%. Forget getting anything over about 10 feet in there. In short, a nice panel, but if you want peak efficiency, be prepared to use something under each section to lower the angle based on your latitude and the time of year.

Lightweight high performance!
Absolutely love these panels, this a solution I’ve been waiting for! The performance and charging are superior to my old school glass panels. They are lightweight, have handles and kickstands on each panel for ease of use, not the cheesy cloth covered cardboard type kickstands that are a pain to deal with. As a bonus, they come with a very nice carrying case for travel days.

Solid, well made, happy with choice
I’ve been researching portable solar panels to use with my small camping trailer to keep my battery charged. I want to be able to park in the shade with the panels in the sun. I’m familiar with the Renogy brand but their earlier suitcase combo struck me as awkwardly heavy. I also wanted the controller near the battery, not mounted on the panel. Then came along this newer generation panel. It’s less than half the weight and quite reasonably priced. I paired it with a Renogy controller. I’ve only tested it in my driveway but it appears to perform as expected. And of course it’s waterproof. The unit seems solid and well made and comes with a well padded case. It is lightweight and easy to set up. I’m quite happy with the decision go with this one.I see reviews for this panel and others (various brands) saying they don’t put out the rated power. My understanding is that panels are tested and rated under standard optimal conditions enabling comparisons between panels and brands. They will not produce that level under real world conditions. I do know that this panel has a high efficiency rating compared with earlier models and others I looked at.

Should have got these sooner. Great for camping and emergency back-up power.
After a long research and contemplation span I FINALLY bought a solar panel for my Ecoflow Delta 3 plus. I plan to use these for camping, but I want to test the solar capabilities before investing in expensive roof-top solar panels. Industry standard connections are a definite plus. I set the array in my back yard and watched the output on my Ecoflow App. The charge rate was wonderful in full sun and even worked in partial shade. Easy to fold and set up. I do wish the angle adjustment was better, but am still not sure if that would improve the output. Still, Portability is what I wanted most.
