Reliable and compact – Strongly recommend
I’ve been using the FlexSolar S100 foldable solar panel for about a month now after a prolonged power outage in my area due to a storm. It has been a lifesaver for emergency power. It charges very efficiently. The USB ports do actually support fast charging and are very quick when exposed to direct sunlight, and it still charges (though slower) in partial shade. It is lightweight and folds up very neatly in the included carrying bag. The construction quality feels solid – no flimsy hinges or cheap fabric. Also the included DC to DC cable has a number of useful attachments. I even got it to charge my laptop directly. It’s a really reliable and compact source of power during this outage and I would strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a portable/emergency charging solution.

Great solar panel for recharging cpap batteries on river trip
I used this solar panel to recharge my cpap batteries on a recent whitewater rafting trip. Luckily we had sunny layover days so that I could get a full day of charging. I was a little skeptical at first since the panel was so compact and flexible, but it worked great. I found that the best way to use it (thanks to the pictures in the description) was to hang it from my tent. I used the corner tie outs on the tent fly to suspend the panel facing the sun. The included corner carabiners made this easy to do. Every so often I would reposition it on another part of the tent to get the best angle to the sun. I was able to fully recharge my cpap batteries from 6% to 100% in the space of about 6-8 hours. The panel folds up into a very manageable carry case that fit easily in my raft dry box. I was very happy with how this solar panel worked.

    as advertised
They advertise 120 W output, on a bright sunny day without any clouds, at the most perfect angle, and in a large open space, my power bank showed all the way up to 135 W of continuous input. It can produce above what is advertised, well done! A very slight change of angle by only 15 degrees can instantly drop it down to only 60W, and even a tree branch far off in the distance can drastically reduce these numbers. The electrical connections on the solar panel side have rubber O-rings, and fit very snug, it does appear to be water resistant on that end, the end that you plug into your power bank, have no water resistance. The stands it comes with would only be useful in a ZERO wind situation, but, and are even a bit tricky to balance with no wind lol, I think that is pretty obvious from the pics. The case it comes packaged in is nice, and it all folds up compact and light. I would say it is exactly as advertised, and performs as expected, for a decent price.

    As advertised. A good choice.
This works well. I would consider another of the same if i needed anouther panel. Both the panel and its case are well thought and well made.Figure the standard 20% discount on the rated output. The hinge sections, panels, and wires are showing no stress. The folding racks are fiddley in a different way than the sewn in type. I have decided that I like them better, despite bending one is a recent slip down a bank. The complete lack of variety in the output connection will either not bother you or is fixable. The solar connectors are a well supported standard so you should find whatever adapters you need. Just budget for that if you are plugging this into nearly any mobile device. There are now options to this that fold down into much tidier packages. If you have the spot to carry this type, it will be faster to setup and stow away. If not, check out some of the 8/10/12 panel configurations. They are more vulnerable to blow downs because they rise furthere out of the weeds. Just flipping it onto the windshield, this three panel deploys faster than your sunshade.

    Efficient, durable, packable!
Easily connects to my battery and is truly portable! I didn’t have the most efficient location to lay it out, but I was able to charge my battery 20% in two hours of dappled morning light (which seemed pretty fast to me)

It works close to posted specifications
Initial tests show promising results with the 100 watt rated unit pushing 70 watts into an Eco Flow River.I did see some large charge fluctuations initially and was able to trace this instability to the coaxial power connection on the side of the panel / included plug. I cleaned the plug with a paper towel and alcohol and all the intermittent operation observed earlier has disappeared and only consistent operation has been observed.I also have a Victron smartsolar 75/15 charge controller that I can add inline and have been able to achieve about 80W charge power with the same panel but that’s it, nothing more. For how small the panel is, I am happy and it will suit my needs as long as it continues to work.I’ve had the panel in use so far for a week. I’ll update if I see any performance/ operational issues in the future.

A great size to bring along
Makes close to 40W and feels durable. Fits in my backpack alongside a 13″ laptop when folded up (but has a space in the middle, which might be a good fit for cleaning cloths or a small tablet case).

Worked amazing! Used it maybe twice in the summer! The connectors I wish had a little more length but over all great quality and use ability! Had my start link running 24/7 all weekend, kept my battery bank charged no issue, sun was out it was charging faster then output on battery generator! Great product.

Used this everyday, for a bit over a month in Jamaica after hurricane Melissa. Kept my power bank (60,000 mAh) charged, and supplied all the power I needed for a cell phone, tablet and several USB lights. This product is awesome, it charged my power bank approximately 6,000 mAh on a sunny day and around 3,000 mAh on a cloudy day. Was small enough to fit in my carryon on the plane. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a small but VERY capable charging.

Nice piece of kit. Well made. Good stand. Excellent storage bag. Putting between 90 and 104 watts of power out on a slightly hazy day. Will charge both my EcoFlow and Jackery power banks. Well worth the Prime Day price. First day with it I’ll update if anything happens.

Changing review. After volt testing panel and connecting to other various batteries, the panel was in fact fine. There seems to of been an issue with my mppt charger/plug.

No this is a game changer. I charge everything off it since I got it 2 days ago and it does exactly what it’s meant to. Right now it is charging a 36,000 mah power bank
