It requires an Amazon Fire device for programming it
We homeschool so this Programmable Stove Stoppaz STEM Building robot is the perfect addition for our 10 and 6 year old boys.Both of them like to build with those famous-brand expensive plastic bricks.They’re used to build their own cars with kits that come with over 900 pieces or more and they’re able to follow the instruction booklets with minimal assistance.This kit comes with over 700 pieces and their able bonus feature is that it comes with a remote for moving the robot forward or backwards. The eyebrows are also controlled which makes my boys laugh just to think of it.They haven’t finish building it completely but they’re enjoying it so much that it’s serving as a STEM project for both.One thing we noticed is that it has the ability to program it but you need an Amazon Fire device. We used to have an old one but it’s not working anymore. I wish there was another alternative to use that feature.The plastic quality is great, so far I don’t see anything that stands out to say anything wrong with it. As a matter of fact the colors are very vibrant.Now, for the price, I would say it’s a bit pricey but nowadays a lot of assembly toys are this expensive.I may possibly need to buy a second one to give as a gift for the next kid in our friend circle to have a birthday because it does make a great gift!

Fun STEM Project with a Learning Curve
The Stove Stoppaz programmable STEM building kit is a fun and engaging educational toy once everything comes together. The app and remote control features work well, and it’s rewarding to see the project actually function after being built and programmed.My son did have a bit of a hard time putting it together, mainly because the instructions weren’t very clear in some steps. That said, with a little patience and trial-and-error, we were able to figure it out and get it working. In the end, it became a great learning experience in problem-solving and persistence.Overall, it’s a solid STEM kit that encourages hands-on learning and creativity. If you’re willing to help guide younger kids through the build, it’s a worthwhile and educational gift.

Hours of fun!
My daughter and I had so much fun building this together. The bricks are very high quality and hold together nicely. The instructions are very clear and well-designed. There is enough complexity here to keep kids busy but not so much to be overwhelming. We haven’t messed with the app or “smart functions” so unfortunately I can’t speak on that, but the basic remote control play was very fun and worked well. This is a great opportunity to do some cool building without the price premium of big L.

Fun little robot for kids to enjoy!
This little robot is super fun to build. My son loves that it is built out of Lego sized bricks, so we can make changes to it whenever we want, but the instructions are very clear if you want to build it as intended. The only thing that is annoying is there are like 6 bags, but all only labeled one and 2 so we have to constantly check every bag for each new piece we need. Besides that small annoyance, this robot was fun to build and is fun to play with. My kids very much enjoy it and it is simple to use and the movement is straightforward. I would say because it comes with so many pieces, that it is a really good value and it works really well

I had a blast building this remote control robot! The construction process was super fun and not too difficult—it hits that ‘sweet spot’ for a weekend project.The customer service is truly amazing. I had a few missing pieces in my box, but I reached out and they responded immediately. They sent the replacements super fast, which I really appreciated. The build quality of the robot itself is great once finished.The only quirk is the app. It seems to be a third-party app only available via a link/Amazon, and the interface is entirely in Chinese. It’s a bit weird to navigate at first, but if you use a phone translator or a lens app, you can figure it out pretty easily. Despite the app hurdle, the robot is a lot of fun to drive. For the price and the support you get, it’s definitely worth it!
