FINALLY!! A DOCKING STATION THAT WORKS WITHOUT ERRORS.
This one works! Finally hundreds of dollars wasted on Docking stations only to get error messages flickering displays, displays not working. Thanks Plugable ! – wish I had found you sooner.Although just installed but at least i didn’t get any error messages and my Bluetooth is not constantly connecting and disconnecting. All 3 screens working as desired. Windows 11 ASUS ROG gaming Laptop.This working docking station search has been a PITA for a long time. This was NOT the most expensive dock I have tried. I’d say the value for this Dock is excellent although it is costly. Irrelevant because of the frustrations of the other docks even the more expensive dock (“name TOBEnot mentioned)” when you get error messages or halfway work long enough for you to tinker and update drivers and use tech support only to see your return window pass by–haha

Great Docking Station that works Great with MacBook Pro
I bought this docking stations two years ago to use with my MacBook Pro 13″ M2. It has worked great, giving me three stand alone monitors. When I had an issue, Plugable was very responsive and helped me solve my issue. I highly recommend Plugable if you want multiple free-standing monitors with your laptop/computer.

Works Perfectly – Allows 3 External Monitors on MacBook Air 2022 M2!
I was hesitant to purchase this dock because of the price – but after searching for quite a while this seemed to be one of the few docks that would allow a M2/M1 MacBook to use 3 external monitors with DisplayLink.I finally bit the bullet and bought it – and installed the DisplayLink Manager program before it even arrived.I thought there would be some issues getting started – but I was surprised to find that it worked right out of the box. The hardest part was plugging in all the HDMI cables!I saw some reviews complaining about how hot the dock gets. I tested by streaming two 2k HD movies at the same time for 30 minutes and neither the dock or the MacBook Air has gotten very hot at all.I also used the dock with HDMI & USB switches, USB hubs, ethernet (it pulled 1gig while running all 3 monitors, btw), mouse, keyboard and webcam. Everything just worked – except a 5v power-only laptop cooler.The laptop cooler didn’t want to turn on after plugging it into the dock’s USB ports… but it turns out the dock just needs to be plugged into the laptop to activate the power to it’s USB ports.Honestly, that’s pretty smart since it conserves energy and heat. It also means I don’t have to fiddle with the cooler’s switch every time I need to turn it on too.Overall – I was expecting a struggle to get it all working, and there was none. It’s worked with every single thing I’ve thrown at it right away – I highly recommend this dock!If you’re reading this in the future – please note I *will* make an update if the Dock ever dies on me. If there’s no update – it lives!Thank you Plugable – 10/10!

Update:DO NOT BUY THIS DOCK. This dock is the worst experience in my entire life for buying accessories for a Mac. If you have any HDCP content you want to play, it will not play if the DisplayLink driver is installed. Even if you have a passthrough or even if you have an HDMI port. The driver disables any ability to play HDCP content. Talking to the Support team, their solution was to install Chrome. That isn’t a solution. That is a workaround. I can’t watch any of the movies I purchased through Apple TV or any other native app that uses HDCP. This isn’t a bug. This is how Virtual USB-C displays work. They need to say this in the product details. Hiding this is just shady as hell. You only find out when you search for a black screen for playing Apple TV or Netflix in Safari.The dock, for me, was constantly dropping connection. I used the supplied USB-C cable and tried a new verified TB3 cable heck, I even used a Verified TB4 cable, and yes, the wattage was above spec for this device. I thought maybe it was my M1 Macbook Air so I tested it on a Mac Mini M1, Macbook Pro, and it still has the same issue. I stream content and it was always frustrating that it dropped the connection. I thought it was my internet. To find out it was the dock. Even USB devices would randomly drop and connect. One display always turns off and turns back on.I contacted support and that is where this gets worse. The solution was always to try a new cable or install Chrome for HDCP content. I even sent them a log from their debug program they ask you to install to gather information. They say nothing is wrong with my dock. Working with support was one of the worst I have ever worked with. You think spending $300+ dollars on a dock the company would have better support.My Solution? I bought a new M2 Pro MacMini. This has support for 3 monitors(which is why I bought this dock). I have no issues with my monitors dropping in and out. My internet connection is stable, and I have no issues. So now the dock is in the basement collecting dust. I just want a refund for not only my frustrations with the hardware but for the support. But it’s too late. So my goal is to make sure no one will experience this frustration. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM PLUGGABLE.

デザイン、性能、将来性、全て気に入っています。最初不安だったサポートも、迅速に日本語で日本人が対応いただけました。少し高価ですが、４Ｋ対応、HDMI3口同時利用、100W充電、サンダーボルト4対応等、永く使えそうです。注意点は必ず利用前にパソコンにドライバーをホームページからダウンロードしインストールしておくことです。それをしないと、モニター1台しかノートパソコンにつながりません。

The main reason I bought this is because of the new Macbook M1 can only support one single external monitor. With the help of this docking station, I can now use 3 external monitors, one HDMI and 2 DisplayPort with the integrated DisplayLink technology. You do need to install the drive and run it. Initially, I only installed the driver but did not run it, it did not work. after a simple click and run it, it works like charm. The docking station charges the Laptop and no need to use the original charger anymore when docked.I am Happy with the purchase.

Was worried as some reviews were hit and miss, but this works amazingly, 3 screens all working, charging at the same time, able to plug in peripherals and as cards all at once, and no delay, much better than other models I’ve used (using razer blade 17 2022)
