Simple installation and use. Amazing product
The thermostat looks amazing and the installation was super simple. After getting all the wires in, it connected to the internet super easy and was added to the Meross app and my Apple Home app. I can control the temperature from anywhere, set up schedules, and share control with my roommates. It was compatible with my system, and runs great.

A Simple, Reliable Thermostat Without the Gimmicks
Installed it a few days ago and it’s been solid. I’ve avoided Wi-Fi thermostats for years, but this one felt worth trying. It’s not a “smart” or “learning” model, which is exactly what I wanted. Once it’s online, you set a schedule and it just runs.Setup was straightforward. The app walks you through it step by step. You do need a basic sense of your HVAC wiring, but nothing complicated. It looks good on the wall and the included backer plate covered the old screw holes.Getting it onto my Wi-Fi took a couple attempts, but that was my firewall, not the thermostat. Once I fixed the network rules, it connected without any issues.The app itself is simple to use. I also added it to Apple Home with the Matter QR code, which gives you the basics inside Apple’s interface.The advanced controls are a nice bonus. You can fine-tune how stages 1, 2, and aux heat behave, and you can set a temperature cutoff for the heat pump. The defaults are fine, but it’s great to have the extra control if you want it.Overall, I’m happy with it. No learning features, no surprises — I set the temps I want and let it run.

Nice smart thermostat
Really happy with this thermostat so far. Install was easier than I expected and the app walks you through everything step by step. Took me maybe 25–30 mins and I’m definitely not an HVAC expert.I like that it works with Alexa and Google — super convenient to just ask it to adjust the temp. Scheduling is easy to set up and I’ve already noticed we’re not running the heat as much during the day, which should help on energy bills.The app is simple, reliable, and I like getting alerts for filter reminders. Also nice being able to adjust the temp when I’m not home (have def done this more than once).Overall solid smart thermostat for the price. Does what it’s supposed to do without being complicated. Would buy again.

meross Smart Thermostat for Home
This is a nice looking and reliable smart thermostat. The unit has many functions; most are accessed via the Meross mobile app. The functions include setting the operating temperature, hold temperature, schedules and other things. For the more ambitious (like me), you can also calibrate the temperature if the temperature on the thermostat display does not match an accurate thermometer. This unit was pretty easy to install (it does require a C-wire or C-wire adapter. You can change the room temperature from the display on the thermostat; along with switching between heating and cooling; and fan settings.This thermostat connects to the Meross mobile phone app via wifi. It is also compatible with most heating and cooling systems. Along with the Meross app, I also can change the temperature settings with the Google Home app. This thermostat has a lot of control capability, however, the instruction manual does not dive deeply into all of the optional settings so some of them are difficult to figure out. All in all, a good thermostat.

Great Smart Thermostat – Simple & Reliable
I love this thermostat. It was easy to install and very user-friendly right out of the box. The scheduling feature is excellent and makes it simple to manage temperatures throughout the day, which has helped with energy savings. It works seamlessly with the app and voice control (Alexa) and I haven’t had a single issue so far. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable, smart thermostat upgrade.

Smart and Sleek
I have smart devices throughout my house and decided it was time to add a smart thermostat. Since I have 28 Meross devices (plugs, switches, garage door opener, sprinkler, and an outdoor timer) a Meross Smart Thermostat was a clear choice.I quickly checked the compatibility of the thermostat with my HVAC system and found I had the R,G,Y,C,W wires connected to my existing thermostat, so I was good to go.The physical installation was very straight forward.• Turn off power to the HVAC• Remove the wires from the existing thermostat and label them with the included stickers• Mount the Meross Thermostat backplate (I also used the included trim plate to cover where the existing thermostat had been on the painted wall)• Attach the labeled wires to the corresponding connections on the backplate• Snap on the Meross Smart Thermostat to the backplate• Turn the power back on to the HVACThe thermostat powered up showing an “S”, an upside down “F”, and a flashing Wi-Fi symbol indicating it was in setup mode.Device setup also went smoothly. Since I already had Meross devices, I already had the Meross application installed on my phone and access to a 2.4Mhz Wi-Fi connection, I was good to go.• I launched the Meross application on my phone• Selected the “+” icon to add a device• Selected “Smart Thermostat” as the device type• Selected this device (MTS300)• Followed the installation wizard (I skipped the wiring steps since I had already done them)The thermostat connected to the Meross application and displayed the current temperature.The wall device itself displays the necessary icons and options for basic thermostat control. This is important so that if you were to ever lose your Wi-Fi connection, you can still control your system the same way you would with a manual thermostat.The real power comes from using the Meross application to control and configure the thermostat. Whether you have several Meross devices, or this is your only one, the Meross application is essential to controlling, configuring, and making this device a “Smart” thermostat.The following are some of the things I initially set in the Meross application.• I set a schedule for the times of day (daytime and nighttime in my case) that I wanted the target temperature to change (Lots of flexibility here. It can be different for each day or the same for the entire week)• I set the hold action to maintain the target temperature that I manually set until the next scheduled change from the scheduler• I set the display to only show the current temperature during standby mode. This is just a personal preference for a “clean display” to glance at during the day and night. (You can take it out of standby mode, temporarily, by a long press near the bottom of the screen to make manual changes at the device)• I calibrated the temperature and humidity values to match the sensor for my skylights that I already had mounted nearbyThere are a number of other settings that can be made to tailor things to your liking.A handy feature I like is the Usage Dashboard. This area of the application shows your heating and cooling time usage, filtered by day, week, month, or year. It’s a great way to see how long your furnace or AC has run during a time period.I have also selected the option to link the Meross Smart Thermostat to my Alexa devices. I have used Alexa voice commands to set the target temperature and to change between cool and heat modes.So far, I am very happy with my Meross Smart Thermostat. Especially since it integrates nicely with my existing Meross device environment. I would still be happy with it if it were the only Meross device I owned. I love being able to check on and control my HVAC on my phone from anywhere.When it’s time to get yourself a smart thermostat, I recommend this one.

I have been happy with this thermostat. First off, I really liked the design of it and the trim plate it came with really helped it to look great. The design can feel very minimalist with some settings adjustments which I really liked, I could reduce brightness when not using the wall monitor as well as display only the temperature.I came from a likely 12 year old Honeywell thermostat that was bulky and ugly. It fits beautifully to my place and I decided to buy another one since I have two machines at home.Beyond the aesthetics, the thermostat is highly functional. I finally got options to set a schedule and more importantly adjusting temperature with automations or over my phone. There’s also a set of advanced settings that allow to further customize for example even when you want auxiliary heating to be used which is perfect if you want to avoid certain costs.Installing it was not complicated, definitely it required confirming where certain wires would go but the Meross instruction was very helpful. One thing that LOVED and I wish I had taken a picture is that the inside of it where you connect the wires has a small tube that helps you level it to make sure it’s perfectly straight on the wall!I think it is a great value for the price it cost and the functions it brings and asthetics.

I upgraded from an old, programmable thermostat to this Meross model, and it’s been a fantastic decision. The installation was straightforward, but be aware that you *do* need a C-wire for it to power on. If you have one, it’s a 15-minute job.The setup through the Meross app was incredibly simple, and it connected to my Wi-Fi without any issues. I love that it works with Matter, as I’m trying to make my smart home more universal. It linked up perfectly with my Apple HomeKit, and controlling it with Siri on my phone or through my HomePod works flawlessly.The app itself is very intuitive. I have been using the Nest thermostat for years. It worked fine at first but over 3 years recently it became a problem. Mine died after about three years and it was frustrating and no more support from nest. It also felt too complicated. It had many settings that I never used so decided to change to something differnt and that’s how I came across meross.I decided to try this new mirror style thermostat and the difference surprised me. The setup was simple. The display is clear and easy to read. It looks clean on the wall and feels modern. I learned how to use it in minutes. There are no confusing menus or extra features that get in the way.I have been using it for about two weeks now and it has been great. The learning mode works better than what I had before. My HVAC runs smoother and the on and off cycles feel more controlled. I can see that it is using less energy too. The temperature stays steady and the house feels more comfortable.The app is easy to use. It connects without issues. It works with HomeKit and Alexa with no trouble. The schedule setup is simple and helps save energy. I also like that it does not require a subscription to unlock features.After dealing with a dead Nest, this feels like a huge upgrade.
