So good, I bought it twice
Long story short, I got this stand as a Christmas present, and lost it while moving into a new home. After looking around at the other options, comparing materials and pricing, I still ended up buying this stand.First, and most importantly, not metal parts of the stand goes anywhere near the laptop. Which means, no scratches from normal use or damage, very important to me.Second, it is really easy to remove the laptop from the stand, and there is no unnecessary tightness or pressure put on the laptop during use or removal. The laptop design uses the weight of the laptop to squeeze the stand shut, clamping onto the laptop. You won’t have to worry about over tightening the stand, and because of the design, it will fit other laptops without issue.Lastly, price. If you’re looking for a metal-based stand, this stand actually hung around the cheaper end of the spectrum. I found a few that I liked the look and design of them, but they were $40-$60 for more elaborate stands. I feel that the stand is properly and reasonably priced for the quality.Overall, it’s versatile, functional, aesthetically pleasing and serves its purpose exactly how it should. Highly recommend.

Solid vertical stand that is sleek and small
I really enjoy the look of this product – it’s a 3rd party product but has the Apple “feel” that I love. I also really appreciate that they took the time to color match the aluminum to the device – at least with the space grey model I have anyway (can’t speak for the others).I only have two very minor complaints – and take this as a very minor complaint as you can see I still rated this 5 stars: the first is that I wish weight required to press the “fins” in to hold the device was a bit lower. I have a 14″ macbook pro m1 and it’s not quite as heavy as the bigger ones, so it’s not a super tight grip. That said, it holds it firmly enough that I trust it, so take that as you will.Lastly, the little silicon/rubber feet on the bottom aren’t super tight in the aluminum channel they’re in – if the stand is sitting on your desk with your laptop and you slide it toward you, the silicon feet grip the desk so well that they tend to slide out of their channel in the base. Again, very minor complaint because they slide right back in and I don’t really often “slide my dock across the desk” so it’s kind of a weird “I just happened to notice this” type thing.That said, I do adore this dock and would 100% buy it again. My only wish is that they made an iPad Pro version! I tested my iPad Pro 12.9 in it and it’s not quite heavy enough to get a good clamp on, which is fine because it’s not intended for iPad! So I really hope you folks make an iPad one – I’ll be your first customer!Updated to add – I forgot to mention, it’s silly but I really love that they included a tiny little rubber cable manager to stick to your desk/nightstand. It’s a small touch but one that I appreciate a lot.

Snug, No Leaning
Surprisingly snug holding of my Dell 5420. Solid build and high quality. I bought an older HumanCentric holder but it had a much lower center on it and wouldn’t hold a laptop with any kind of “foot” on the bottom (where one edge of the bottom is raised and has a rubber strip attached, which when placed on surface raises the back end higher aka “raked”)

Good quality, interesting design
Not exactly what I was expecting but it seems to do the trick. My impression was that this stand was narrow and firm so that the laptop can slip inside and remain contained without wobbling. Instead the base of the stand is a rubber so when you place the laptop inside, the weight of the laptop press on the rubber base and the sides are pinched together.This does create a fairly firm grip but if someone were to press it from the side, the laptop will definitely wobble a bit. I have a cat which is where the firmness can become a problem.I will definitely continue to give this a shot, but just beware of this one issue.Otherwise, the material seems high quality and the laptop is securely in place.

Great space saver!
Very clean design. Modern, sturdy, adjustable to thicker laptops, and portable! I had to return my original one because there was damage to the metal frame, but they sent me out another one right away. Definitely happy this with stand! Helps clean up my work space.

Seemingly flimsy, but is not.
The build quality is fine. This is not a fixed storage space, it is flexible, but when the laptop is in it, it is solid and the laptop feels secure. It is very easy to use and there is no set-up necessary. My husband is very pleased with it and has no complaints.

Looks & Works Great
After rearranging my desktop, I needed to find a bit more space. This vertical laptop stand was just the ticket to create that space, cradling my MacBook Air (M1) with its flexible arms and holding it on edge neatly. This is not a “docking station,” as it has no USB or power connections, but that’s perfectly okay with me. The design allows easy access to the MacBook’s two USB-C ports on one side and the headphone output on the opposite side. That’s everything I need in a “dock.” The arms of the stand are plastic, but it seems plenty sturdy for normal home office use. It’s stable on my desktop, with grippy rubber strips on the bottom and soft grippers to hold the laptop upright. The “Space Gray” color is a perfect match, too.

This Humancentric laptop stand is impressive.I own other stands but this one is versatile out of the box, whether it is holding my 15″ MacBook or my 13″ laptop it does it perfectly.I don’t need to buy inserts to fit different devices, it allows my laptops to be used closed without blocking vents.I wish I had got this sooner.Quality is very good, price is great, its ability to hold my devices straight, or as straight as the angle you put it in.My opinion, is if looking for a straight forward simple stand for your laptop ( within certain dimensions), this stand should definitely be shortlisted to take a look at.I change my laptops every so often and this would have worked with all my recent ones over the past 9 years and saved me a quite a bit in changing laptop stands.The stand looks good and best of all works great.

lo uso con un macbook pro 14, muy bien, suave y solido al mismo tiempo. cuidado que la base se puede abrir, antes de colocar el portatil, mirar si esta bien enganchada.

Ocupa poco espacio, tiene buen agarre y estabilidad, la calidad del material es bueno, no se ve chafa ni tiene imperfecciones. Lo tengo arriba de mi PC personal ya que no cuento con suficiente espacio en el escritorio. Es excelente opción para el aprovechamiento de espacio.UPDATE: Compre nuevamente este soporte ya que adquiri otra laptop, por lo que quise seguir la armonia del mismo material/color. Excelente soporte y calidad como el primero que compre, solo que esta vez viene un poco mas ancho que el anterior, desconozco si fue que tiene tamaño a elegir y no me di cuenta o solamente tenian de ese tamaño. El primero que compre la base mide 7cm y mi 2da adquisicion es de 9cm, esta diferencia me causa un poco de ruido visualmente pero realmente no es un punto para devolver la base, la funcionalidad sigue siendo excelente y el color es el mismo, por lo que la diferencia de tamaño puedo ignorarlo.
