Excellent thermostat with remote functions. This does however require a technician to install or activate the remote sensor.

Great smart wifi Tstat
My second Honeywell smart wifi Tstat. Replaced an Ecobee with this one. Much more user friendly and intuitive to use than Ecobee.

I bought this thermostat to replace another Honeywell in my home because I have just added a humidification system. I love that this thermostat has con connectivity so that you can put sensors in other rooms that measure both temperature and humidity. I live in Colorado and humidification in the winter is very desirable. However, I don’t want all of the humidity to settle into the basement and have my downstairs rec room become too moist. So, I installed the remote humidity sensor downstairs and I can manage the humidity from upstairs.It easily connected to the Honeywell Residio app, and easily tied into Alexa.

Auto switch between heat and cool does not work!
The settings seem cool with the extra sensors I bought, but the auto switch from heat to cool and back does not work. Constantly have to manually switch back and forth in Florida with and without schedule function. Yes, the installer set it to automatic. Yes we have adjusted the differential to various settings. Feature simply doesn’t work and other customers and professionals on reddit confirm as much. Garbage.

OK as a thermostat – not for smart home integration
I had to replace my old thermostat when the big name company decided that it would not continue support on older products. I was looking for a drop in replacement with the added feature of remote sensors. The T10+ checked all the boxes. It had to be easy to use, have an app, use remote sensors, work with my whole house humidifier and integrate with my smart home. Installation was easy except the wall plate is too large. I then attempted to integrate with my smart home application. API access is behind a username/password site that requires someone to approve your account. Not only is that process from the 90’s, it just didn’t work. I requested access and never got a reply either way. If you want a device that integrates with your smart home look for something else.

Just replaces my Honeywell Prestige with T10. Nothing wrong with the old one, but this is years ahead of it. Being able to schedule based on sensors is a game changer. 40 years in HVAC. This is the tstat that you want. Don’t waste your money on anything else.

Worth it!
Absolutely love these! Purchased 2; 1 for upstairs and 1 for downstairs. They’re so nice and work so well! They easily pair with your phone, too, which is a nice perk. Easily lets you control temperature with no problems. Definitely worth the money!

Set up details are omitted in instruction pamphlet
Instructions leave out important details to set up the thermostat. It should state it is required to set the thermostat to gas furnace or Heat pump. It should tell you how to find the factory 4 digit code. all those detail you must call for factory support to learn how to do it.
