Better than ECOBEE or NEST
Bought this to replace an ECOBEE that failed after less than 2 years. This specific model came recommended by my friend that works for an electrical and HVAC company. I found that the installation was easier than the one it replaced. Controls are simple and to the point. No extra frills that you don’t need. App is good, but the scheduling functions are a little more limited, perhaps this is user error, but I’d like to be able to store a summer temperature/schedule set than winter and vacation mode. Also would like to add a room sensor but haven’t been able to figure out which one pairs with this unit.

Exact replacement for the old one.
Thank you once again Amazon. My friends had an issue with their thermostat in Florida. Knowing that HVAC was my expertise they called me and we went through it. I was able to order an exact replacement Honeywell stat from Southern CA and have it shipped directly to them in Florida. Our friend was able to unsnap the old stat, off the base, and re-snap the new one back on, not needing to redo any of the wiring. Perfect solution to help them out and save them a bunch of money. Best of all they are used to the way this one operates.

Returned the item bc HVAC Tech believed there was an issue with thermostat.Since I was unable to actually use this thermostat I only rated it 4 stars to be fair.Shipping/Return was easy.UPDATE: looking back, the thermostat was probably fine. I urge that if these thermostats are not connecting to the APP . The issue is with your router settings (I. O. T. settings = internet of things)Note** “C” wire is needed

Easy to use out of the box.
It was easy, even for me. I have the same thermostat on all 3 levels of my house. One of them went out. I snapped it out. I took one from another level of my house and snapped it in to confirm all I needed was the main thermostat unit. I ordered the same model from Amazon. Next day I got it. It comes with the main thermostat unit, a base, and a mount. I just took the main thermostat unit, snapped it into my existing base, went through the set-up menu and it worked. That’s the kind of home repair even I can do.
