A Worthwhile Upgrade!
I recently upgraded from the standard Epix 2 to the new Garmin Epix Pro (Gen 2) Sapphire Edition in the 51mm size, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. It was absolutely worth the upgrade!Here’s why I’m so impressed:The Screen Size & Durability:The jump to the 51mm display is noticeable and fantastic. The larger screen real estate makes maps easier to read on the fly and stats more accessible during workouts. Combining this with the gorgeous, virtually scratch-proof Sapphire display provides great peace of mind. The AMOLED screen remains unbeatable for clarity and vibrancy in all lighting conditions.LED Flashlight:The integrated multi-LED flashlight is a game-changer—it’s far brighter and more functional than expected, especially useful for early morning runs or finding things in the dark.The Overall Experience:While the Epix 2 was already a great watch, the Pro version feels more refined. The combination of the larger size, upgraded flashlight, and enhanced tracking capabilities makes this the ultimate multisport watch on the market.Verdict:If you’re on the fence about upgrading or choosing between the Epix and Epix Pro models, I highly recommend the jump. The stunning AMOLED display is crisp, vibrant, and easily readable even in bright sunlight, giving it a sleek and modern feel without compromising outdoor usability.Battery life is surprisingly strong for an AMOLED watch, lasting anywhere from 6 to 16 days depending on usage. GPS performance is top-tier, with multiband GNSS support and detailed topo maps, making it a great companion for hiking, running, and backcountry navigation.Health and fitness tracking are comprehensive—heart rate, SpO2, sleep, stress, and advanced performance metrics like VO2 max and training readiness are all built in. It feels rugged yet premium, especially in the sapphire or titanium editions.On the downside, it’s expensive and may be overkill for casual users. Also, while the battery life is excellent, it still trails behind some MIP-display watches like the Fenix line when used continuously outdoors.Overall, the Epix Gen 2 is an outstanding smartwatch for serious athletes and outdoor enthusiasts who also want a sharp, modern display. It is my everyday watch now.

Awesome Smart Watch Especially for Active People
My first smart watch, though I’ve been using Garmin GPS watches for hiking and biking for decades. This watch is really awesome and gives me HR data during my training activities, as well as 24/7 living. The sleep insights are very helpful and seem accurate. It is pretty complex, but watch a few online videos and you can easily set it up how you want it. I would definitely recommend it.

Recieved the watch in good condition, well packed and protected. It’s standard Garmin packaging, nothing out of the ordinary, which is good. Watch was as expected, everything was as described, seal was intact. Great deal considering what other sites are still retailing it for.

The watch itself is fine. However when you pay the best part of $1,000. For a watch you expect more. The box was cardboard and the watch holder is cheap cardboard. The strap…. The strap on the 42mm is awful. It’s like made for children it is tiny. So not only did I have the privilege of spending $1,000 on this watch I now have to find a longer strap which will cost another $50!!If I could return it I would.If you are thinking about buying this, may be think again. I would certainly say it is NOT worth the money!
