Great multifunction port expander for Mac or PC
This is definitely a premium product – if you just need extra USB or video ports, you can find a better deal elsewhere. But if you want a lot of video (up to quad native output) and a lot of USB (multiple 10gbit USB3).The non-standard 130W Dell support (which is in line with their standalone adapters) is a great feature – normal USB-C PD charging maxes at 100W and this will get pretty close on those devices, but with newer Dells (like my XPS 15 9570), this dock will feed the maximum power to your laptop.Another unique feature to this dock is the 2.5 gigabit Ethernet. Might not need it, but I use some 2.5gig switches and it gives a better connection to my 10gig NAS through the right switches.As mentioned, it’s expensive. Currently $270, you’re probably buying this because work is paying or because you know you want/need the extensive connectivity. It was a great upgrade for my work Macbook Pro desk setup, where I’d been using a typical multiport dongle for years.

Lifesaver for office work
It’s beyond my expectations and so helpful to use.Good quality, comes in original Dell package.It has multiple high speed USB and type-c, and it can also provide power supply to your laptop – one thing as a heads up: it won’t work without power supply, so you cannot just use it as a simple hub.I set up both monitors and so far the picture quality and speed are very good. It saves a lot of work and time for me since I don’t have to switch between different screens, It worths every penny.

I use this Dell Pro Smart Dock SD25 for my home office with dual monitors, and it works flawlessly. All connections are stable, everything just works without any driver issues. The 10Gbps speed is fast, and it charges my laptop perfectly through USB-C. Super clean setup, no lag or disconnects even with multiple devices plugged in.
