Son loves this robotic coding kit!
Great robotic kit for my son! As soon as he saw it he couldn’t wait to get started. It came packaged well and intact with all parts included, the robot, microbit, and cord. The instructions are clear and were easy for my son to understand. The robot is great quality, solid and durable, and it functions as it should. The robot is shaped like a bird and Is so cute. My son loves coding, so this was a lot of fun for him. Not only is it a fun toy, but also great for learning, a win win. Overall satisfied and would recommend. Happy it included the microbit with this kit unlike many others I have bought in the past. Price is worth it, its a wonderful set.

Fun little device.
As a part of a professional development, we were introduced to Finch and it’s application for STEM in elementary classroom. The sheer amount of fun and ease both FINCH and SNAP! together to integrate multiple subjects and activities into one is remarkable. With a 5 minute crash course with my own children (age 6 and 12), they were able to change his “expression” (made a face using bit), and dress him up (with Lego). They had to use mathematics to determine distance (cm to feet/meters), direction to get him to return to them, and color theory to determine shades of colors to be represented in the beak and tail. Lots of trial and error.Definitely the longest the two of them have gotten along all summer. :)Great for collaborative work. Can’t wait to institute this in my classroom in the fall.

Amazing Little machine
Easy to use-I use with an ipad and mirror to my Cleartouch board. My kindergartners loved programming it and then problem solving when it didn’t go or do exactly what they wanted. This is my favorite coding tool to use in the classroom!
