Great care was taken to match the system’s amplifiers and crossover points specifically to the woofer and tweeter for optimal efficiency. Great Sound Quality
Christmas gift for my electronic recording studio, very accurate reproduction over the headphones, using these for the final mix in setting levels, huge difference over using headphones, you have to have a good set of monitors. For the price these are great, only one thing to note, they don’t have a volume control, they do have an input trim but you still have to be very , very careful in keeping the volume to a minimum until you see how they will react to your system. Only plus for these would be a volume control but not an issue after you are aware of it.

The best budget monitors you’re going to find.
I bought two sets of these for listening to music around the house. They sound pretty good. Not audiophile quality but for the money, you’d be hard pressed to do better. Both sets of speakers were used with the USB DAC and left always on. With this abuse, the pair that I took care of is still running strong; the pair that I had in my woodworking shop is dead after two years. With all budget speakers there’s a lot of misrepresentation and spec inflation. Behringer is not immune. These speakers are ACTUALLY driven by a 30W per channel amp for the woofers and a 15W per channel amp for the tweeters. The 30W amp is the same (TPA3116) as a buzz-word happy competitor uses and touts to be “best in class circuit designs”That said, I’ve been happy with the speakers. They’ve done everything I’ve expected of them and sounded better than I’d expected.

USB interface is nearly useless
I bought these to specifically use the USB interface, but there’s essentially no volume control when used this way. Even turning down the Windows volume to 4% was quite loud. In Windows 11, you can additionally reduce application volume down to 40-50%, but then you can’t use Windows system volume keys, and any new application will launch at 100% and blow your eardrums out.

Dealbreaker because of proprietary cable
I knew within seconds of opening the box that these speakers were a NO from me. The reason is, Behringer designed the speakers to use only their supplied cable with their proprietary connector to connect from one speaker to the other.Do you want to use them further than 78 inches apart? Not possible. Do you want to invest in a better, shielded cable for your use case? Not possible.No. Automatic no.Also, one speaker came with a desiccant packet GLUED to the edge of one of the speaker cones, so adhesive needs to be cleaned off.

Good sound, good price, good times!
I make hip-hop beats at home using a mix of 90’s analog and recent digital equipment. These monitors are a great value and versitile at that.I enjoy the sound quality and volume control. Set up was easy. They run out of my CPU with a usb cable and also out of Behringer Xenyx 802 mixer using 1/4 inch cables. The mix sounds good to me for what I do. Don’t let the influncers fool you online. Behringer makes quality products at good prices for musicians on a budget. Buy some and get to mixing your music.

Not bad confidence monitors and a big improvement over usual computer speakers.
I’m not going to mix the next hit record on these, but they sound “good enough” for a lot of purposes. Near field they sound better than a lot of headphones. I’m using them in a radio studio to confirm that we are actually on the air. They work great for that. You might like them better if they were paired with a subwoofer.

I am a Behringer fan
So it should be said that I am a Behringer fan. For the money this monitor pair is probably the best out there. And thankfully they take XLR inputs, which completely got rid of the noise I was getting before I switched over to the XLR connection. It of course requires XLR cables and XLR out from your audio interface, which my Behringer UMC404HD has. Obviously there are much better monitors for a lot more money. And this is my first pair of real studio monitors, so I have nothing to compare them to. But I’ll just say that I had no idea the difference a set of real monitors can make when mixing. And my budget is super tight, so this is really all I could afford. Thank you Behringer for making what I think is a great pair of monitors for a very affordable price.

Using these small studio monitors with a behringer UMC204 interface, and MacBook Pro lap top. Recording while abroad in India. All is very good for the price. Perfect for small home studio.
