Faster than crazy fast – more like Lunatic fast.
A little disclaimer, I received this today and have only had it running for about an hour. If anything changes, I’ll post an update. I immediately installed Linux Mint and a 1 TB SSD. The box is so fast that slow web pages like youtube are loading in less than half a second. Normal web pages load in a blink. The box either doesn’t have a fan or its so quiet that I can’t hear it. The top of the box stays cool, but the bottom plate does get lukewarm. That is the location of the SSD. I had to go into the bios in order to install Linux Mint to change the boot order. They are using AMI UEFI bios which does not have mouse support. It was fairly easy to find and set. This is the 3rd box I have from Bee-link and each time it gets better and better. The only negative is that it comes with windows 11, but that was an easy fix. This box, unlike my other Bee-Link boxes, has a well lit power button. There is still no HDD activity light. Another negative is that it uses a 19VDC power brick instead of a 12V one. I think this may be because of the higher power CPU. This is an especially fast box, especially when running Linux.

Low quality. Not as capable as advertised.
I’ve had this unit for two years now.Low quality connection ports, very hard to connect cables.The internal 2.5 drive connection has extreme poor performance issues. The same drive(s) connect by external usb ports on the same computer work fine; when installed inside, there is a ‘bottleneck’ of file transfer, actually stalling and not completing. This makes the internal drive port worthless.It was extremely hard to get a cable to connect to the DP port; I then found the unit didn’t support simultaneous displays from the built-in video ports. Single DP use is questionable. I have to use an external usb-to-hdmi adapter to get a second hdmi display to use with the built-in hdmi display.I’ve had disconnect problems with external usb drives, ones used for backup. I have found no bios settings on usb ports to explain the problem, like the port going into low power mode. Cross my fingers, but the external drives I use for system data have not had this problem.The only almost pro I see are the cost (I bought it on sale for $300) for the I5 12th gen processor, 16gb ram memory, and the 512 GB nvme drive. That said, the unit appears to lack good engineering in both the physical and electronic spheres. I am very disappointed in the product; I do not feel they are a good cost/performance item.I can find no documentation or manuals for the units; no user guides or repair guides, and no spec sheets.I will leave with one positive. The unit is very quiet, unlike my older Dell7040 micro computers, which have a ‘whine’ (from the cooling fan, I believe) when used under load.Update: I found that simultaneously using the two USB3 ports on the front of the unit with portable external hard drives is problematic. One drive would disconnect and fail to respond at times. Connecting that drive using the USB-C port instead produced no drop-off problems. I suspect the unit does not have enough power to the USB3 ports. The USB2 ports on the back only have keyboard, mouse, and touchscreen connected; it’s not like I’m overloading the power draw from the USB ports in total. Once I figured this out (much later in ownership than I would have liked), that explained past problems. I suspect the power supply is not capable to fully power the unit; more poor engineering. The throughput on copying files often starts at 10% of normal speed; stopping and starting again sometimes alleviates the copy speed problem.
