CUSTOMER MOMENTS Charge Power Stations & Devices BALDR ULTRA LIGHT SERIES (ONLY 9.26 LBS)200W PORTABLE SOLAR PANEL
I’ve been researching 200 Watt solar panels for a while now. I just got this Baldr 200 Watt solar panel and have been testing it out in the back yard. I’ve been able to squeeze 160 Watts out of it so far. It folds up nicely and is very good in construction and quality for the 179$ I paid. I’m using it with an Ecoflow River Pro 2 in Redding CA in May. We get good sun here though I’ve been using it in partly cloudy weather as well…

See How They Use It DIY Battery Charging
This is a very nice under 10 lb portable 200W panel with a multitude of output connections. It folds to an easily managed size with a handle. As all my power stations were freshly charged I tested it with a lithium battery. With all the connection options the one it was missing was SAE which I wanted to connect my charge controller quickly resolved with an Anderson to SAE cable. All in all a nicely performing compact 200W with flexible options.

Why is the Actual Power Output of My 200W Solar Panel Lower Than Rated?
The actual output is lower due to factors like solar irradiance, temperature, angle/orientation, panel aging, and shading. These real-world conditions reduce efficiency compared to the ideal Standard Test Conditions (STC) used for ratings.
How Can I Determine if This Solar Panel is Compatible with My Portable Power Station?
Before purchasing, verify that your power station’s input port matches one of the adapter types provided (XT-60, Anderson, DC7909, DC5521, DC8020). If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out to us for confirmation.
What Should I Know About Series and Parallel Connections for My Solar Panel?
Some power stations have a maximum input power limit. For example, the Anker SOLIX C300 has a 100W input limit. Even with optimal sunlight, our 200W solar panel won’t exceed this. Always check your power station’s input limit before buying.
Important Notes on Power Station Input Limits
The cables for series/parallel connections are not included. Check your solar controller and power station specs to ensure safe connections. The panel has an open-circuit voltage of 23.8V and short-circuit current of 11.12A.
Important Notes To charge 12V batteries
To charge 12V batteries (LiFePO4, lithium, AGM, lead-acid, GEL, etc.) with the 200W solar panel, you must use an MPPT/PWM charge controller (sold separately). Without it, you risk damaging the battery.

Impressed with the wattage I could actually get.
Frequently I was charging my Ecoflow river 2 at 100 watts from this panel. It is so easy to open up and angle to the sun, with a cord to connect so my Ecoflow can sit in the shade .I used this most of last spring and summer and it is sturdy and quality is good.I think for the price, compared to other 120 watt panels, this Baldr is a great value. I would buy it again.

Worked fine – easy to set up
I bought this to use with a new Bluetti EB55 solar power bank I just acquired. I hooked it up today using the included cords and was getting about 95 watts in good, direct sunlight. Under clouds, got about 25 watts. It is well thought out, and easy to use. It is fairly heavy, but is compact. It includes a connection wire for 4 different types of connections. I am pleased with it and considering getting a second one to charge in parallel.[UPDATE] – I liked this one well enough to buy a second one. I also bought a Y-Cable with 8mm Barrel Connectors to hook these up in parallel, which worked fine. Under a sunny winter day, I got around 70 watts each, and around 140 watts combined.

It is easy to use and produces wel
I was able to unbox and connect this pretty quickly. I have seen around 150. 160 watts during good sun times. I am new to solar but I have been very happy with the testing I have done. It charges my 1000 watt battery during a day.

must have
This panel works great. It isn’t as big as I would have thought for the power it puts out. Its not that heavy but i wouldn’t want to walk around the woods camping with it. It is great for an off grid or emergency power situation. It really puts out the power. It has a good coating on the surface. It also can fit a wide variety of power stations with the included chord. The two things I like the most is the sun target gage to find the right angle to the sun and the fact that it has a foot on each panel. That is good craftsmanship. Great panel.

Nice Portable Solar Panel
Bought this solar panel to charge my new EF ECOFLOW Portable Power Station RIVER 2 Pro. I was able to connect it and charge the generator. I give it a 4.5 stars since I never got close to getting 200 watts of power while charging. But after reading reviews of other solar panels, I have come to the conclusion that most of them are this way. The maximum power I was able to get while charging was 144 watts on a full sunny Ohio day. The setup was easy. It took me more about 10 hours to charge it. After charging the generator, I was able to run 2 CPAPs overnight with no problem. After the $100 off Amazon coupon, I paid $200. Recommended!

Worked well until it died in less than 6 months
This was my first solar panel of any significant size and I’ve since acquired another portable panel as well as 2 larger non portable panels.First of all, I liked the ergonomics and ease of use of this panel. It was easy to carry with one hand, setup, breakdown, and connect to. The included wires had adapters for pretty much all the connectors I needed and the whole panel was light enough to transport easily. The design of the panel folding up into a travel case and the storage pocket for the cables all built in as one piece is really convenient. The legs that hold the panel up work but are not as sturdy as I would have liked but I guess it is a trade-off for something light and portable. After using it daily as much as the weather allowed from around late March to around June, I’ve noticed that the panel would get very hot when in use to the point where it becomes too hot to touch on the side facing the sun. Being that the panel is black, it absorbs heat very well and I had concerns about its longevity as over time, the panel started warping a bit due to the heat. I raised the concern to their support and was told that the panel is designed to work in the heat and that I don’t need to worry.Well, one day, it simply stopped working. I hooked it up to a couple of different power stations I have and – nothing. Took out a multimeter to check and no voltage was coming through the wires. The red indicator light was dark so my guess is that possibly the diode in the control box burned out. Anyway, I contacted support again asking for assistance thinking I may have to get a warranty replacement but days went by without any reply from support. I finally contacted Amazon and explained the situation and they went ahead and allowed me to return the unit as a courtesy. Support finally replied after I had returned the panel asking me to check the panel with a multimeter and if no voltage then they will process a warranty return. That was a good sign that they were going to honor the warranty but at that point, it was too late as I had already returned it.I had thought about buying another portable panel at that time and might consider this same model if the price was right but found that the non-portable panels were so much cheaper and fit my needs better that it doesn’t make sense for me to get another portable panel. I don’t currently have a need to travel with the panel and the other portable one I have will do if the need arises even though the ergonomics of that panel is not as good. Overall, I think the non-portable panels will last much longer due to the materials used for the frame and the design. However, if you are needing a portable panel and don’t intend to use it every sunny day, the design of this panel makes it very easy to work with. The concern I would have if you intend to use it every chance you get is the longevity of the panel. I think it just gets too hot in use that it will eventually cause failures down the road but then I could have had a bad unit.

On initial use i can say the build quality the adoptor and cables are quality products… on clowdy day i am getting output of max 97 and even as low as 29 watts also the battery is chargingw… on average i recharged by ecoflow max from 45 percent to 100% in 4 hours… on average it was charging at 70-80 watts
