Quality product at a great price! Excellent picture, battery has long life, can use an SD card.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was new to video doorbells, so I reviewed lots of video doorbell products online and bought another brand for my alley entrance to my condo. After a few weeks, I decided I wanted another for my front door but wanted to try a different brand and chose Aosu. I’m so glad I did!The Aosu is better in several ways: the picture is clear and gives me a wider view. I did not want to hard wire anydoorbells, so I chose models with a rechargeable battery, and the charge on this product’s battery lasts three times longer than the one I have at my alley entrance. Additionally, this model can use an SD card to record videos which means I don’t need to sign up for an icloud service. Lastly, the app is easy to install and has many helpful features. I plan on replacing the first video doorbell I bought with another Aosu, similar to this one soon. I’m very happy with the quality for the price I paid! . Highly recommend! Picture quality:ExcellentClarity:Amazing clarity on facial featuresFeatures:Easy to use app, accepts SD card, long battery life, easy to installQuality:High quality pics and app. Looks nice on wall Security:Even has a package notification!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **10/10 – AOSU Solar Cameras Exceeded My Expectations*
I seriously can’t recommend AOSU cameras enough. After trying Blink (which was expensive, had terrible battery life, and the camera view honestly wasn’t good), switching to AOSU was the best decision I made. The video quality is amazing, the camera view is clear and wide, and the battery lasts way longer. Setup was simple, and everything just works the way it should. What really impressed me most was the customer support. Cora was incredibly helpful, and the entire AOSU team is super responsive and fast. You can tell they actually care about their customers, which is rare these days.I wasted money with Blink—AOSU is better, easier to use, and way more reliable. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. This is hands down the best camera I’ve tried. 💯Highly recommend! 👏

Fair value
Nice camera, color night vision if lighting good. Easy set up. Some minor glitches connecting. Battery life if heavy live use not great

Great Video Doorbell
I recently installed this AOSU video doorbell, and I’m honestly impressed with how well it works. The setup was extremely easy — it connected to my WiFi in just a few minutes, and the mounting process was straightforward. The camera quality is excellent. The video is clear during both day and night, and the wide-angle lens lets me see everything in front of my door. Motion detection is accurate without being overly sensitive, and the notifications come through quickly.I also love the design — it looks modern and clean, and the light ring around the button is bright enough for visitors to see at night. The app is user-friendly, and playback is smooth with no lag.Overall, this doorbell has been very reliable and provides great peace of mind. For the price, the performance is outstanding. Highly recommend!

Great Picture Quality and Easy Setup!
I was really impressed with how clear the video quality is — even at night, faces and details look sharp. Setup only took a few minutes, and the app connected right away with no hassle. I like that it comes with local storage, so I don’t have to pay a monthly fee like other brands. Battery life has been solid so far, and notifications come through quickly. Overall, great value for the price — sturdy build, reliable performance, and peace of mind knowing I can check my door anytime. Highly recommend!

Not impressed
First off – I don’t enjoy giving low star reviews so I attempted to reach out to the seller 4 days ago expressing my concerns and have not heard back – so I will proceed with expressing them here and plan to return this item. First off I’ll start with the good… The price for this doorbell I think is pretty reasonable although a quick search of other video doorbells reveals that this price point is almost average nowadays. But I ended up going with this one because it claims to be head to toe view And has all these cool features and claims to not require a subscription and so on. So another positive is that the set up was pretty easy. That’s where the positives end for me. Now again I realize this isn’t a super expensive video doorbell camera, but I at least expect it to do what it says it’s going to do. While it claims to not require a subscription you basically need a subscription if you want to capture any video whatsoever of people coming up to your door unless you want to open the app and have it live streaming 24 hours a day and be looking at your phone 24 hours a day. So there’s that. I decided to try the free trial and see if it’s worth the subscription… Let me save you the suspense and trouble. It’s not worth the money. Half of the time maybe even more than half of the time it doesn’t even capture whatever motion is occurring outside of my front door. I get alerts all the time telling me there’s motion, but then there’s absolutely no recording whatsoever of whatever was causing that motion. So then what is the point? The video it does capture is very segmented. It doesn’t capture the entire length of interaction with the person coming up to your door. So for example, someone comes up to your door and drops off a package it might catch the person as they’re walking away, but completely misses a whole chunk of them coming up to your door putting the package down and anything else they may have done. I find this really troubling because the whole point is I want to be able to capture any suspicious activity outside of my door. Isn’t that the whole point? So I’m really disappointed with the delay in recording. Speaking of delay once you get an alert and you try to open the app to see what’s going on. It takes a while not super long, but it does take a little bit to actually get to the part where the video is open and you’re able to see what’s going on. Sometimes it shows a little snippet and it’ll show a person outside the door like just walking away and then when I open the video, it shows absolutely nothing so it’s like what happened to that person? There are so many issues as far as I’m concerned with the video recording aspect of this which is basically the whole point of this product. The other complaint I have is with the so-called package Detection they have a feature that is supposed to verbally state package detection or package pick up detected I guess if they think someone is picking up your package? But so far it seems like almost every time I come home and just open the door and go inside my house. The thing goes off and says package pick up detected package pick up detected. I have no idea what the basis is for deciding that a package has been picked up, but clearly it is faulty and incorrectly alerts you that a package has been detected and is being picked up. All in all, I don’t see the point of this doorbell camera and I would suggest to anyone thinking about purchasing this to look elsewhere.

I’ve been using a motion-recording doorbell for over 10 years and started getting fed up with the fees. When the doorbell needed to be replaced I looked for an alternative. I have been using my AOSU doorbell for over a month and so far it’s been fantastic. It’s very easy to charge the battery and it lasts for a long while. It records every time there’s movement near my door, and the video quality is really clear, even at night. I like that it saves everything on the SD card instead of making me pay for a subscription like some other brands do.This doorbell was very easy to install as it required no wiring. It also was very easy to hook up to my Wi-Fi and started working immediately. As a wheelchair user, it makes it very easy for me to see who’s at the door and communicate as well. It also provides me with safety when I’m coming in and out of the house. All in all, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I’ve been really impressed with the AOSU Wireless Doorbell Camera. The video quality is very clear, and the head-to-toe view makes it easy to see people and packages at the door. Motion detection is accurate and doesn’t send too many false alerts. Setup was simple, the Wi-Fi connection is stable, and the included chime works great. I also like that it gives both local storage and cloud options. Overall, it’s a reliable and well-built doorbell camera for the price.

I’m really happy about how this is working. I simply put in a MICRO SD card rather than use a cloud subscription. I originally expected to use an SD card that I already had, but bought a good sized brand name micro SD after I received the doorbell and wound up spending about $50 on it. Video is clear, works well even at night, records when any person enters the view and doesn’t get triggered by things like bugs or far away objects (and sensitivities can be set). The app is easy to use and the notifications and ringing on my phone (which I set) are working great. People don’t hear me well when I speak through it sometimes so remember to set the volume high if you’re using that. It even has a voice modulator which makes me sound like a male which is great. If someone rings the doorbell then when I answer the call, it’s only voice when you answer so you need to manually open the app to see the video so I’ve got to remember that, but if you touch the notification that someone is there (I have this set all the time), then it goes straight to the video. It’s really a great change in how safe I have felt since I have moved in recently and even had a porch pirate steal a package already, and my door isn’t strong enough for a bar/chain lock that lets you peak out Plus then they can tell you are there, and if you’re not there, the doorbell wouldn’t get an answer so they may easily figure out that you are not there. When I talk through this doorbell with someone, they don’t know whether I’m home or not. But somehow when I was looking at this online, I had the impression that I would only need to charge this 1-2 per year. I don’t know if that is in the product info or if I was just mistaken, but I have had to charge it about every 1.5 months. And it does warn you when you watch the live video for a while that it uses a lot of battery power and prompts you to stop. I do look at all the videos and get packages often and my neighbours trigger it too, so I am may use more power than average, but had I known how often I would be charging it, I may have thought more about getting one that can be wired in the electrical system of the home instead of a rechargeable one. But it is easy to see how much charge is left on the app. Only taking a star off for having to charge often and having to buy an micro SD on top of the cost. Tip: don’t install it against something on top (mine was up against the regular doorbell of my home in order to get the right height recommended. It will be hard to pop it out of the holder because you need to start higher and slide it in and you need to slide it up a litle first to get it out. There was no warning in the installation instructions about this. I used screws and I should have placed it half an inch down. Luckily unscrewing the original doorbell plate allowed me to get it in and I can charge it in place with my outdoor outlet. The bonus of this is that I don’t worry about a thief just popping out the unit to make it easier to steal packages. One stole a sign that I made for delivery drivers so I could see them figuring out how to remove these.

Great doorbell camera! The clarity is great, and setup was easy. Just purchase a separate mini sd card to put in it, and all of your videos are saved to it, and best of all, no monthly payments! Battery lasts a good length of time (I have only had to charge it once since installing it in August, and it’s now mid-November). The app is pretty easy to navigate – I did make a couple of adjustments to get the notifications I wanted, so you may have to play around with that a bit. If you don’t want it going off each time you enter and exit your door, I gather you can upgrade for face recognition, but that doesn’t bother me. Overall a really great purchase, thanks AOSU!! Super easy setup, the doorbell has a regular chime or you can select different musical tunes to play on the speaker that plugs into an outlet inside the house. The video is good and you can talk to the person on your doorstep through the doorbell. Totally wireless setup and it runs with a rechargeable battery, 2.4 GHZ signal, and you can put an SD micro card or subscribe to cloud service for reviewing video after the fact. Recognizes package pickup or delivery and announces it at the door so parcel delivery drivers know it’s been acknowledged. I charged the battery, connected to the app and updated the firmware and then was ready to mount the doorbell with the four screws provided.
