Build Quality is amazing.
From the perspective of an amateur electronic music dabbler that’s had M-audio BX5s for well over a decade the Adam Audio upgrade has been phenomenal. I did plenty of research beforehand and for the money these were the clear winner. I have my music gear in a relatively small room and given the logistics of the room the speakers sit close to a wall. Having the ability to swith the lows really saved me as these speakers really do have a solid low end. I’m not an audio technician by any means but these speakers really do sound incredible, especially if they are an upgrade. I definitely recommend.

Great Monitors at a Great Price
For the price, this is an incredible deal. Getting a crisp ribbon tweeter and 7” woofers in a package with multiple switchable EQ options at this price point is hard to compete with.As for sound, the bass is a little overbearing depending on your setup, but not to the extent that some other reviews might say. Its punchy and clear when pulled away from the wall about 1 foot and with the bass EQ switch in the cut position. The mids and highs are clear and crisp, and I can find and isolate most instruments and voices in the mix very easily.They’re a great upgrade if you’re looking to get into larger monitors, and a great addition if you want to look into adding a new pair of monitors to get a different perspective from your daily drivers.

Best budget monitor/speaker under $500 for pair
These beat much more expensive speakers.Pros: AMT Tweeter = detail, cool to the touch amp dont get warm, 3khz dip frequency response.Cons: twitter hiss at idle, class D amp, rear bass port, rear volume control, no standby mode.
