Bright and convenient.
This light is great! So bright! Three modes! Holds my iPhone tightly for perfectly lit video, also works well as illumination for reading, drawing and crafting. The base allows the light to fit into tight spots but still swing and remain balanced, no toppling over even when it’s fully extended. It’s quite bright at the highest setting, and sets a nice ambiance in the warm setting and the dimmer, creating the opportunity for creative backlighting. I would buy this light again.

Useful tool
I bought this gadget to help me take videos of me doing work on a workbench. It’s got a good 30” reach from the base pole center to the center of the ring light/phone mount, if you adjust it all the way out and about 4 feet off the floor with the light ring facing horizontally. It is super flexible to just grab it and re-position it around freely without having to loosen any thumbscrews. I used the included wrench to loosen all the nuts that create the friction at the pivot points, and just tighten them just slightly. The only thumb screw I use is the top one that holds the ring/phone mount tight. This thing floats! Up, down, left horizontal, right horizontally, swivel the light ring upward downward. In addition, the phone mount itself rotates in 2 different directions. The one direction works on friction while the other has a spring loaded every 90 degree detent that it snaps to. Found this out by mistake. You can change the light brightness and you have a few different temperatures to choose from. I use the light even when I am not filming. You can face the light/camera vertically if you want where it can stand a maximum of 5 and a half feet tall from the floor to the center of the ring/phone mount. There is an included extra phone mount to use when you don’t want to use the light ring. The included camera remote works great with my iPhone. When you are ready to film, have you phone’s camera app open and ready to shoot. If you have it set to photo, press the remote button and it takes a photo remotely. What a hoot! If you have your phone camera set to video mode, press the remote button to start filming, press it again to stop. Works from across the room as well.It took me a little while to get used to mounting the phone in the spring loaded gripper. I found that rotating the mount 180 degrees upward where I could see what I was doing better, and then flipping it back once I’m ready to film made it so much easier.Overall, what a cool functional gadget. Highly recommended

Broke at the Swivel – Cheap Mold Instead of Real Screw, Failed Where it Mattered Most at the Joint
Only had for 8 months and already broke. The light part fell right apart when I went to adjust it. At first I figured it was just loose so when I tried to tighten the “screw” I found its not even a real metal screw! Its just some composite molded with the component so I can’t even try to replace the screw. Keep in mind, this is directly at the spot where the light swivels, the key piece that made me want to buy this lamp. The actual light is bright and I was happy with it but completely useless.

Great light AND customer service
This light is exactly what we were looking for. My husband and kids make videos opening baseball cards and we needed this light for our space as it’s too dark without one. A huge added bonus that it also holds the phone for them as well. I love that you can not only adjust the brightness, but you can also adjust the type of lighting you want.We encountered a small problem with shipping. I sent a message to the seller and received an almost immediate response and without hesitation they had the issue fixed. They couldn’t have made it any smoother.
