Solid mount, holds up heavier monitors with ease
Bought this to complement a new standing desk. One of my monitors is a larger 30″ monitor that weighs maybe 24 lbs without the stand. I had gotten my hands on some pricey CBS Flo arms from work, but they were hopelessly unable to hold up the weight.This dual arm mount is strong and sturdy enough to hold up both my big main monitor and a lighter side monitor with ease. It’s a bit chunky, but looks good regardless.Adjusting the monitor position is easy on almost every axis, with the one exception of the monitor forward/back tilt. If you’re constantly changing the tilt of your monitor, this solution is a bit clunky, since it’s just a screw that you tighten up. I tried making it a bit looser to make this adjustment easier, but with the monitor’s weight, it has to be kept very tight.The detachable VESA back plates make mounting the monitors easy.I was not a fan of the USB and headphone ports on the base, but luckily they are just extension cables fitted into the base and can be easily removed, to clean up the appearance and eliminate the bright blue cables from coming out of the back of the clamp.Overall a good buy for the price. With so many solutions out there, it was hard to decide, but I’m happy I went with this one.

One of the best, but three reasons I returned it
1) It’s sturdy as far as these monitor stands go, but it’s still not up to the task of carrying two 27″ monitors. I was looking for an exceptionally sturdy monitor holder, and I don’t think one really exists that meets my standards but this one came close. Everything flexes on it. The base is decent but unless you bolt it through a 2″ table, even the table will flex a bit. Consider getting the steel reinforcement pad Amazon sells that spreads out the load if you’re clamping to the back edge of the table. The arms have good tensioning adjustment, but be prepared to crank them all the way up for 27″ monitors. The ‘pitch’ of the monitor is adjusted with a pivot quite a ways behind the monitor’s mass, so the monitor will naturally want to pitch down. It can be hard to set the angle you want. And once you get it, you have to seriously crank down on the screw that clamps the pitch adjustment in place. It’s not easily adjustable after that. The worst part of the design is how the arm attaches to the VESA pattern on your monitor. There’s this sort of quick connect tab and slot system that only makes sense if you wanted to remove and replace the monitor over and over again. It’s really pointless on something you set up once, and the price you pay for it is a super sloppy flexy fit. The monitor will always have some amount of movement available in that clip, so each time you reposition the monitor or rotate it 90 degrees or whatever, you’ve go to do a fine adjustment to make it square and level. There’s no way to lock down the position in that clip.2) I realized I don’t actually want the ability to move monitors independently. I wanted to be able to set them up relative to each other (tops and bottoms even, narrowest space between their edges, level, a particular angle between them), and then be able to move the two as a unit. That’s not possible here, by design the two monitors are completely independent. So switching to standing up mode, and wanting to adjust position means moving two monitors and readjusting how they sit relative to each other every time. This sounds silly until you try and move the monitors as you move around, which is one of the main features of a mount like this. If I wanted to set and forget, and keep the monitors rigid with my desk, I would have gone with one of those pole mount types, not an articulating arm.3) I have a 30″ deep uplift desk. To put the monitors at the right distance, the articulating arms stuck out quite a bit behind my desk. This would not work well on a desk against a wall.I ended up going with the VIVO STAND-V102H, which is also not perfect, but it solves #2 and #3 nicely.By the way VIVO customer support is responsive and easy to work with. They sent me replacement parts no questions asked. Identical models to this are sold under other no-name brands but I’d recommend sticking to the VIVO branded ones.

No product is going to “just fit” what each of us wants. There is going to some allowance for the product to fit different scenarios, but not all. I went for this one primarily for the weight capacity. It does seems that on full horizontal stretch, you need to adjust a lot more for it to bear the weight, my monitor is 5.8kg. I want to use this for stack another monitor on top. I got that, but this is where the weight capacity plays up again, I need to further adjust the tension to allow this 5.8 to stay almost touching the table top, with about 30 cm gap. It went all the way down until I tight it probably 4 full circles. Something is not that ideal, I don’t have much space behind the desk, and I don’t want to move the desk out too much. I do have slight reservations but as I said at the start it’s not going to fit everything just right.The whole thing was well packaged and delivered in timeframe. It looks like all the bits and pieces are there. No sign of it an opened or used item. All the parts were easy to put together; of course, following the manual. I have put together another dual monitor arm before; I feel this one is more well made, more easily to put together. The vesa mount is a great design.Now, tidy up time.

Muy bueno, buen material, robusto y de fácil configuración, llevo ya un año con esto para un monitor curvo de 32″ y uno de 27″ y todo muy bien
