Beautiful Unit to Replace Nest
My Nest was set to lose support this month, so it was time to replace it. I’m not all that happy about the situation, so I decided to go another route.I’m glad that I found the Vine thermostat! It really compliments my interior and has a beautiful screen. I like that it also acts as a nightlight for the kids. And it’s easy enough to use that they were able to figure it out without me having to teach them a full masterclass. The nest unit wasn’t as logical without explanation.I like being able to access it on my phone at home or away. And also it is really nice that it is integrated with my Alexa devices, so I rarely need to use my app.It’s able to tell when I’m away, so I don’t need to set it every day. But I can set it to turn on or off at times when I know nobody will be home – potentially saving me lots of money!Installation was a breeze for me. My home is pretty uncomplicated. I’ve got one unit with a C wire and a heat pump with emergency heat. I would make sure you have a C wire if you are looking into installing a thermostat. Otherwise, you may need a battery powered device, run a C wire from your unit, or get creative with some sort of power supply. Most won’t have to worry about it, but I wanted to give a little warning just in case.Overall, it’s a beautiful unit that does everything I want it to. It saves energy which saves me money, and it feels like a quality device that I think will last a long time.

Very nice looking thermostat and so much more convenient than my old dumb thermostat. Setup and install were simple, price was reasonable, just what I needed.

Pretty good
Good WiFi thermostat. Compact, comes with a small flat head and some extra connecting wire. Be sure to have a C cable as this does require one (no batteries of course) the instructions were decent, YouTube has everything these days. Unit has a night light feature which I find pretty cool.

This thermostat is everything they tell you it is. After receiving it I installed it and had it working very quickly. With the app I spent an hour or so setting schedules so it will automatically change to the desired temperature range depending on my daily schedule (I also recommend geofencing). It does exactly what I programmed it to do!After just 1 month of usage, I see the difference in my electric bill. It will never make you rich but it definitely does make a difference and will have paid for itself within 3-4 months.

Life changing!
This item has done wonders! My thermostat is all the way across my house from where I usually am and it is a pain to adjust it in the middle of the night. I paired it with my Alexa to allow for easy adjustment and have been staying in my bed in better temperatures! I highly advise for people who need an app based thermostat to get this! Will make your temp adjustment just that much easier and that much better!
