Excellent device with easy setup
This dimmer plug was very simple to setup and get working. The matter integration allowing to expose to HomeKit is a game changer.The included control button was a nice added feature. I would recommend this product as it solved an issue with smart bulbs not working properly in a specific lamp.

Meets all expectations, does its job without pause
I had 2 of these plugged in and programmed in about 5 minutes. The quality is nice. They are easy to use, with some app setup, but not too complicated. One is on a daily timer, the other is controlled by voice. Timer functions flawlessly, and has not lost wifi connection. Using my phone as remote control via voice, is so convenient for my bed side lamp.

This Smart WiFi light dimmer plug kit is a nice upgrade for my living room stand up light that’s difficult to reach. It’s made the light smart and I can dim it from my phone now. It also works with my Alexa, making it super easy to control. It’s easy to set up but will require you to have (or download) the Tapo TP-Link app but it works seamlessly with the Alexa app. It looks good and is very durable.

Amazing product
Amazing product. Not only does it work perfectly but the bonus of the remote is super convenient. Connecting to the Apple Home app couldn’t have been easier. Didn’t have to download any additional app, stayed in the Home app. I used this for a pair of bookshelf lights and yea just can’t recommend this enough. It’s a steal for what it does! Some remotes on their own cost what this whole set up does. Highly recommend it.

Does what you want.I bought it because of the dimmer button you can mount to the wall. It functions. Not great, but good enough.The setup is pretty easy, eventually.I akways have to do tge setup twice. Deleting the device in between.And, sometimes after you get it working, it disappears and you get to do it again.Connecting to Alexa isn’t too bad. Once you get it stable.But worth the price overall

Easy to set up and use
Love this smart plug! Very easy to set up with app, and works exactly as it should with my dimmable bookshelf led bulbs.It says it works with Alexa, but I haven’t bothered yet since the app is so convenient and allowed me to set custom on/off dimming level schedules. It even calibrated dimming levels to the max/min brightness of my led bulbs so the 1-100% brightness levels are accurate!Way easier and cheaper than buying individual smart bulbs or manual dimmer extension cords, especially when I needed a specific style bulb for my shelf lighting.

I can’t get enough of these plugs. I replaced all my Wyze plugs with these. They’re super responsive and easy to set up. I’ve created groups for the lights in each room. This has been especially helpful in our basement office. One click in the correct room and I can turn all the lights on and off. No more spending 10 to 15 minutes going spot to spot turning everything on. I highly recommend these.

As always, no hub required and everything runs smoothly on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.What really impressed me is how feature-rich these plugs are:Scheduling and timers work perfectly for managing lights and small appliances.Runtime stats give insight into power usage, which is helpful for monitoring high-use devices.Away mode and smart actions add security and automation.Alexa and Google Home integration is seamless—I’ve had no issues controlling devices with voice commands.These devices pay for themselves when you calculate the cost savings they provide leveraging the scheduling features.They also have great range—I have one running in the attic and another outside in a dry box controlling flood lights, and both maintain strong, stable connections.Overall, these are smart, dependable, and thoughtfully designed. Tapo branded products are some of the best in the consumer market these days. Their price point is pretty good for multiple purchase to cover the various areas of the home. The plug itself is simple to use, basically a plug-and-play for the device and a simple installation of the app from the App store. The plug is also small and non-invasive, so it doesn’t take too much space on the wall outlet, compared to other plug-in switches. The app itself is simple to use to turn on and off the plug on-demand, or you can set timers and schedules for automation. Since this is a Tapo, the app can control other Tapo products like cameras and fixed-in light switches, which makes it simply an all-in-one control center.

Using the Tapo Smart Plug Mini for my sump pump and it is working nicely.The automation is very good. I can easily set when the plug should be ON and OFF, which is quite helpful. The app is simple and does the job properly.One small issue is that the timer works only in minutes. For sump pump usage, seconds-level timing would be much better. I don’t want the pump to run for one full minute when there is no water, because it may start sucking air and that is not good for the pump. If this feature is added, it will be excellent.The size is small and compact, so it doesn’t block other sockets. Network connectivity is also good, no disconnection problems so far.Overall, it is a good and reliable smart plug. With more precise timing control, it can easily be a 5-star product.
