Just download app and delete when finished
You have to download the Tenda app. There’s no getting around that. Once the plug is synced and you have the steady blue light, you can take the plug, put it in whatever outlet you want…like it’s ready to go. I wanted the plug to control a floor lamp, and for Alexa to control IT. I needed to download the Alexa app too, which I’d had previously, but disabled because it conflicted with my car Bluetooth and gym app. So I re-downloaded the Alexa app, and followed the Alexa app instructions to tell it to communicate with the Tenda app/plug. Once the two apps were communicating, I told Alexa to make a command to run BOTH smart plugs and floor lamps: Alexa, turn on the lights. (I’d already had a smart plug/lamp setup from before, so I was basically adding a second plug/lamp setup.) So now when I say, “Alexa, turn on the lights,” she turns on both smart plugs which turns on both lights. When I got that working, I just went ahead and uninstalled the Tenda app and Alexa app again. Retested the lamp command (for both on and off) and bingo, both lamps come on and off with no issues. So it’s proof that you DON’T need the Tenda or Alexa app once you’ve got your plugs synced. I’d be sitting in the dark if this wasn’t true!

It does not pair, the light keep blinking orange, the Tenda Beli app is not able to connect. USELESS it is not MATTER.Devices with Matter logo you can pair directly with Alexa, Google or Apple Home, no need to have another useless app in your phone

Super Reliable!
I’ve tried most of the smart plugs on the market and the Beli Smart plug is by far the most reliable. So far no resets have been necessary and has worked perfect even when I lost power to my home temporarily. Also I had no problem setting it up. I highly recommend. The Beli Smart Plug app and set up was super fast and easy. I think it took me under two minutes to get it fully up and running and connected to my Amazon Alexa. After a few week there has been no issue, its worked perfectly, and will be buying more!

Took a minute to figure out setup, but once youve got it going and sync’d with Alexa ita pretty handy. Only issue was one of the plugs will not register in the app. So 1 out of the 4 is useless.
