COB LEDs look so much better than the dot RGB LEDS
I wanted to replace my Govee RGB under cabinet lights with something brighter, whiter and have a continuous LED stip. The COB LEDs were perfect. They paired easily with Alexa and Google Home. The lights are way brighter with excellent dimming control. The seller is also very helpful with questions and solutions.

WiFi Controller failed after just 6 months
I have been using this strip led light for six months on my kitchen, the light is very bright, the temperature is just cozy (I bought the 4000K model) and so far was working fine until today. I have this system hooked up with Alexa, and sudenly I started receiving messages from Alexa App that the strip was unrisponsive. I can control it with the included IR remote, and with the manual module, but the app is nos recognizing the WiFi module anymore. I did all the steps to reconfigure it back, reseting the device, even using diferent apps that I know they work with (this is basically a Tuya module). The process to add the device after reseting it starts ok, the module show up on the app when is in pairing mode, but once I go to the next step, it just keeps trying to connect an never happen. It shows different error messages, “connection timed out”, “couldn’t connect to the router”, “Couldn’t be added”. I even isolate my WiFi network, turning off 5 Ghz band on all my access points, and leting just one access point on with just 2.4 Ghz enabled… same errors!. I just want to mention that I have 8 more IoT devices on my home network and all of them have been working fine for almost 2 years. On top of everything I can’t find a replacement for the controller, looks like I have to purchase the whole set just to get a new WiFi controller. It is really frustrating. Hope Tatazone could handle this situation offering replacements or honoring a warranty. This is a pretty new product!June 19 2024 UpdateTatazone customer service approach me to fix what it happened. They were very attentive and helpfull in trying to fix my issue. Finally they determined that the WiFi module was damaged and they gave me a full refund to buy a new one. I already bouth it, and I am waiting to receive the new one. I update the rating from 2 starts to 4.

Easy install and dramatic results
Peel and stick installation – I used it in an antique bookcase from India, and never thought the adhesive would work but it did. The indirect light is beautiful. The controller didn’t work and I had to unplug them to turn them off. I had already done an extensive installation, winding around and through my furniture and wasn’t looking forward to pulling it all out to return it. I contacted the company, their immediate reply was, they would take care of it and three days later I had a brand new one which works great. High marks for customer support!

Very ecomomical
This COB light strip image is very smooth without the breaks in the light line as you would see with a LED strip. The App that comes with the kit has a Schedule feature that allows you to schedule the unit (both strips together) to turn on/off by time(s) and day(s) of week. The adhesive backing is quite strong. I don’t think any COB or LED strip can be bent to make any of these sharp or even gentle turns. However, connectors are available to make sharp turns where you cut the COB strip and insert strip connectors and short wires. This wall unit used most of each of the two rolls of of COB strips (about 16 ft each) and 10 connectors in the appx 90 turns. The connectors work very well and are rather easy to use. Just make sure you cut the strip at the correct location (available about every 2″). When you buy the connectors make sure they are the correct ones as there are different width of tape (8 and 10mm are common) and number of wires are correct. Color strips generally require four, White generall 2 but there is COB white strip white that requires 3 wire for those strips that have an adjustable Kelvin Color temperature feature. If you go the app store, you should be able to get support to help in your selections. The kit’s power supply transformer also has two long output supply wires to power up the COB strips thus allowing you to start each strip 18″ from the power supply and that feature was critical in this application. Other units I have tried require you to start each strip very close (i.e 6″) to the power supply. Over all I think this kit fill my expectations.

Cut strip not working — help
I recently bought these LED strip lights and cut them to fit my space, but now the section I cut off doesn’t light up. It seems there’s no power connection to that remaining piece. Can someone please explain how to reconnect or power the cut section so it works again?
