Flawless on the PS5
Switched from Turtle Beach Stealths and the improvement is fantastic! My biggest issue with the turtle beaches was they would take forever to connect to my ps5, sometimes not work at all, and drop connection randomly. They also sounded pretty bad compared to these steelseries.The steelseries connects so fast and consistently it’s a breath of fresh air. And connect to Bluetooth on my phone without any issues. It’s great taking calls and using spotify while playing games with the boys.They do really sound great and are very loud (and I still have the volume limiter on in the GG app). I did EQing in the app as well which really helped them sound great. Here’s my favorite EQ settings for immersive sound after experimenting:32 (3.5), 65 (5.5), 125 (4), 250 (1.5), 500 (0.5), 1k (0), 2k (0.5), 4k (2), 8k (1.5), 16k (0)I also like the mic more than I thought I would since that was the one thing really good on the turtle beaches. But it has great sidetone and my friends say I actually sound better so can’t complain.Fits well, definitely looser than the TBs but that also means more comfortable. And I have a small head but they stay on without issue.Highly recommend these!

My turtle beach wireless gaming headset broke, the mic snapping off, so I was in the market for an upgrade. Using chatgpt to compare my currently headset, I chose this one for comfort & durability, align with sound quality. I did not think I would even use the Bluetooth feature to be able to listen to my phone in my headset while playing PS5 but I actually use that every day now! I listen to audio books or music while casually gaming. I havent tried taking a phonecall with the headset on & didnt read the manual so idk if that is possible but it would be neat. What I love most about this headset tho is it is SOOO COMFORTABLE. I wear glasses and game for hours at a time & this feels like a cloud over my ears. Theres like an elastic type band that is adjustable that prevents the hard headband of the headset from ever even touching your head and the ear pads are so plush & soft. I’ll never try another brand, I’m so in love with it. From what I understand, when you turn it in the color of the light around the power button indicates the battery status as well. Thats nice as I feel like I’m so prone to overcharging things if I don’t know when theyre low.

These Headphones are very good because of their versatility. They can be used with the USB-C dongle on PS5 or any computer with USB-C ports. There’s a 3.5mm option. The microphone is retractable and of good quality, from what I am told. I like having analog controls, and you do get used to themThey can get hot, and also sometimes I feel like they could be louder, but part of that depends on the content you are listening to. I also love that you can mix audio from Bluetooth and wherever the Dongle is connected. The battery lasts very long time, have barely had to recharge it.I’d say the quality for listening to music isn’t the best, but these headphones are not the worst, nor are they made for that. Definitely could use more lows in the mix, though. All in all, they are really good headphones

Good headset, horribly shaped dongle, and don’t forget to turn the Bluetooth off!
So the sound quality on this headset is amazing and sounds great. It ends there. First off the dongle is shaped absolutely horribly. Most gamers prefer to plug things into the back of their PC to avoid the clutter. Well this dongle just wont allow this because if you plug this into your motherboard it will almost always block something else you are probably using. Now, lets get into the Bluetooth. It works great, but whenever you turn off your headset, it doesn’t turn off the Bluetooth. You have to turn that off separately, which to me is more steps I don’t want to take when I have “powered down” my headset. I love the technology that has been emplaced with this headset, it needs to be applied better.

Update: After finding little to no information from the SteelSeries to resolve my issue I found a detailed Youtuber who posted a video on how to factory reset the headset, after reset i was FINALLY able to pair the headset however theres a pending firmware update that keeps failing 🙄 all in all the headset is “Just ok” IMO, still returning.I rarely write reviews, but after owning this headset for just over two hours (and waiting nine days for delivery), I’m extremely disappointed. The headset will not pair via Bluetooth with my phone, which means I can’t connect to the app to set up sound profiles. The included paperwork and instructions are terrible and completely unhelpful.After searching online for solutions, I found countless complaints about the same issue on Reddit going back years. While it does connect to my PS5, the sound quality is awful. I’m replacing a six-year-old Razer headset, and straight out of the box back then, it sounded a thousand times better than this brand-new one.Huge mistake wasting my time and money on this brand. Never again.

Excellent value and quality. Superior noise isolation from previous version of the same headphones. Even comes with an adapter in case your computer does not have (or have free) a usb C port. Charges fast, comfortable large earpieces, easy to set up.

Very good headphones, personally loved the variation of connectivity options (Bluetooth vs usb connector). They have a good life so you can use them for several days.The software allows you to really fine tune the sounds you are looking for in video games.If you plan to use them for 2+ hours they are a little tight on the head but it’s manageable. Overall great headphones and durable.

Easy to setup, connects to both ps5 & phone/laptop easily. You can listen to both at the same time, but switching which mic you use does not seem to be an option. The software for Mac simply does not work with M1 Chips. Big disappointment on that front.The headphones itself are amazing. I was surprised how light they were and the sound profile is very enjoyable. The battery life feel like it’s last as long as advertised.Also, there is a dial that allows you to hear yourself in the mix, helpful feature, but it isn’t gradual enough, functions almost like an on/off dial.Still, would rate it 4 stars. Very happy with it. The software working with M1 would have been the difference maker.
