Ok for price but not without its issues
Setup was quite easy. You do have to provide your own AAA batteries for the remote which is required to get started – which is rather chintzy in my opinion and unusual for these types of electronics.CONNECTING : I tried all FOUR modes of connection and they do graciously provide the necessary cables to use all the wired methods – 1. Bluetooth (which I found out my TCL Roku TV unfortunately does not support 2. ARC – this uses the bulkier HDMI type cable and for some reason it required the volume to be turned up in the 80%+ level to hear sufficiently not to mention the quality didn’t sound particularly good. But it did at least allow use of the TV remote to change volume level 3. Optical – OK sound but which sadly requires controlling volume with use of the separate sound bar remote controller instead of being able to use your TV remote; 4. The AUX cable, which is the one I ultimately chose. It essentially uses the headphone jack output on the TV but at least this allows use of the normal TV remote to control volume.I have several issues that cause me to not be happy with this unit.1. Whenever you turn it off and then back on it defaults to Bluetooth mode. That’s fine if you are using a TV that supportsthe Bluetooth. But If you’re using one of the three other connection modes, which in my case happens to be the AUX mode, then you have to manually reselect that other mode on the sound bar remote each and every time you turn the unit on. Definitely not a fan of that.2. There are three listening modes – toggled through by repeatedly pushing the music/movie/news button on the soundbar remote. I see no way to determine which of those three modes you are presently using so I can’t tell you which one of the three is best but two out of the three of them sound very tinny to me and only one of them did I find to be satisfactory to use for my every day viewing.3. There is no apparent way to pair your existing TV remote (or a universal remote or other desired remote) to the sound bar. By using the AUX connection mode I thought I could get away with just leaving the sound bar turned on and using my TV remote for volume control. But I’ve noted there is at least one command on my TCL ROKU TV remote that triggers this sound bar to turn off (but not back ON) Then I have to get out the other remote for the sound bar, turn it back on, and then it comes on in Bluetooth mode instead of the AUX mode that I was using. So no, it’s not convenient at all.Conclusion – produced only “decent” sound quality but certainly better than the TV. This is probably acceptable to most given the low price point. There are concerning Remote control issues, the fact that it defaults back to Bluetooth connection mode each time it is turned on (rather than remembering the mode you were last using),and the inability to use a single remote for your TV and the sound bar are deal killers for me. Oh – and c’mon, provide the two needed AAA batteries for the remote.Personally I would not purchase this product again.

Good Speaker For A Good Price
The sound could be a little brighter, but is clean with no hiss or crackling while connected optically and with our tv’s audio set to PCM. The system was fairly easy to put together and hook up and is user friendly. The Bluetooth connects quickly. This soundbar looks better than most speakers and takes up much less space for the amount of sound it puts out.We put electrical tape over its power light so it’s not distracting.

Not worth the frustration!
Returned – Right from the start this sound bar had connection issues with HDMI ARC. When it finally did connect it sounded great, but connection issues are a deal breaker and very frustrating when the tv sound shuts off and you are expecting the sound bar to begin outputting sound and it doesn’t without aggravating intervention on your part. Unfortunately, Plug-n-Play is non-existent on this sound bar. I’m not paying $50 to debug their software. Happily, Returned! Also, the remote had zero functionality. Did not turn on, turn off, or change any settings….Junk.

Not the worst, Not the best
I wanted to like this soundbar, but it ended up being kind of disappointing. The sound has a noticeable echo that makes voices sound unnatural, especially during shows and movies. It’s better than TV speakers, but not as clean as I expected.Another odd issue is that the remote doesn’t come with batteries, which feels weird and cheap for a product like this. On top of that, the soundbar constantly switches itself to Bluetooth, causing the sound to cut out completely until I manually switch it back. That gets frustrating fast.Setup was easy and the size is nice, but the sound quality and connectivity issues really hold it back. It’s usable, but I wouldn’t call it reliable. Okay for the price, but definitely not great.

Not impressed
I purchased this particular one due to the reviews..but I am NOT happy with this sound bar. It was an extremely easy and quick set up, and for the price it serves its purpose, provides sound. The sound is very very flat and has somewhat of an echo sound as well. The normal sound on my television is better than this sound bar. I’m debating on returning it or just using it for another room and purchasing a better one for my living room. Hopefully I just received a defective sound bar, I don’t want to deter anyone from purchasing this item because it may be a great option for you, just not for me.

Cool inexpensive sound bar with optional mounts.
Nice soundbar. Sounds is clear with just enough bass. What I like are the various options for display. Flat mount on table or desk, 2 individual stand mounts or 2 individual wall mounts. Set up is easy and convenient with grace. So far I am happy eith this inexpensive sound improvement for Bedroom TV.

Stuck with a LEMON
Do NOT purchase! I purchased prior to moving into my new home. I recently moved, after return date and proceeded to install this sound bar. I have tried OPT and HDMI ARC with no success. OPT setting just gives an extremely loud feedback sound. HDMI ARC does not produce any sound at all. I have done all the troubleshooting with no success. I bought anothe HDMI cord think it could be the cord and still nothing. Thinking it may be my Samsung TV, I tried to install on my LG TV and got the same outcome. I have called the “support” number multiple times and it gives me a message saying they are busy with other calls. The Bluetooth feature does work and sounds great, but I bought for movies not music. I guess I’m stuck with another speaker that is not need.Stuck with a LEMON
