Honest Review for Runners
I’ve always been a Skullcandy fan and will admit I am slightly brand loyal to them. I came across these looking for wireless earbuds that I can take running with me without having to worry about them falling out from the bouncing that happens during runs due to impact on the ground. I am SO glad I bought these!!They fit [in my ear] perfectly. The sound quality is superb, and they do NOT move at all while I’m running. They’re very easy to deal with and came 60% charged out of the box. Great quality build as well. Things like this is why I thoroughly enjoy Skullcandy.I ran 85% effort sprints for 100m hitting just above 15 secs. Didn’t move. 0.5 mile warmup at 8min pace – didn’t move. 5K – sitting pretty. I’ve used them in 100* CA heat and even with sweating, never once had an issue nor did they move. They fit so comfortably and honestly, I’m so happy with myself for buying these. I do NOT write reviews at all unless I believe the product truly deserves one.If you’re a runner, or active sports person who likes music/podcasts while you workout, these are FOR YOU!!!

Fits great!
Best earbuds I have had. I use my earbuds almost 24/7. I sleep with them. These earbuds fit incredibly well and do not fall out. The sound is good although I listen to talk radio so my review is limited to that. These earbuds hold their charge forever. I’ve had Skullcandy in the past and I’ve never been disappointed. I had the pixel buds which the sound was amazing but they just did not fit well. For me the fit is very important and Skullcandy has a lock on fit.

I never really leave reviews. Sometimes when a product is either exceptional or terrible I will leave review to let others know that this is something they should or shouldn’t buy. i’m sorry to say in this case, these headphones are terrible. I read several bad reviews, but there were also several good reviews so I just decided to go for it because these looked great and I like the company skullcandy. The reason I don’t like these headphones is the sound quality. This is not the most important thing to me, but the sound quality in these headphones are absolutely terrible. When I listen to metal, it’s like the headphones can’t keep up and the sound goes in and out. It’s almost like there’s not enough power to send the full sound through. I don’t know why it’s happening. I just know that it doesn’t sound right. Beyond that the quality is just absolutely terrible. I compared with my cheap earbuds and the sound in my cheap earbuds were so much better it’s not even funny. The fact that a cheapo pair of earbuds sound enormously better than the Skullcandy headphones is troubling. I really wanted to keep these, I really like the voice command and the fit and the style of these headphones but the sound quality is just absolutely terrible. If you don’t buy these, you won’t have to return them.I am updating this review. I originally hated these headphones. The sound quality was terrible. After messing around in the app provided I was able to improve the sound. I went to personal sound and did a long and involved test on my ears and set up a custom sound for me personally, based on the hearing test, the app gave me. After doing this, the sound quality improved significantly. It’s still not the best but I like the voice command and the secure fit of these headphones. Was going to return them, but I think I am going to keep them now. You should be advised that these don’t have the best sound. I did expect more from Skullcandy. I bought these on cyber Monday and got a really good deal on them. for what Amazon says their original price was, I believe the sound quality should be better.After playing around with these headphones and getting used to them, I’m now rating them 4 stars. I’ve grown to love them. I haven’t had them long so I don’t know how long they will hold up, but if they last, they are great. I’m not stoked about having to have an app, but in this case, it’s a great app. It’s easy and you can do a lot of cool stuff. I’d definitely recommend these headphones

Disconnecting in the middle of listening and broke within a year
TLDR: DO NOT BUY THESE HEADPHONESI am getting really frustrated with these. I was working around my office and they disconnected in the middle of listening to music a handful of times. I wasn’t more than a foot or two from my phone. I can’t figure out what was happening. I downloaded the skullcandy app and then the skull-iq app and set up my buds. Thought maybe that would fix it. I can’t get voice control to turn on unless I have that app open (unless that’s wrong too). So I thought maybe I needed the app open to keep them from disconnecting. Nope, app is up, I am sitting at my computer and they just disconnected from my music. No idea why.They also sit in my ear strangely, but I finally got them to be comfortable and not painful. Honestly, I have always loved skullcandy, but these are more frustrating than enjoyable.Update:I purchased these June 22, 2023 and by June 20, 2024 they aren’t working. I’ve dealt with having to remove the device from my settings on the computer or turn off blue tooth on my phone to not have them randomly switch. But now they read as connected on my phone or my computer but no sound. Not even the skull candy lady saying “connected” or ready to pair. I connected them to my computer and tested the volume and nothing. Not even the ding of the slider being adjusted. Sucks because I really wanted to like these. They had the stay aware function that is important in my office environment where emergencies aren’t unusual. But after a few months even that wouldn’t work if I was playing music at the same time. My coworkers would still need to tap my shoulder to get my attention. Turn the music off and I can hear someone’s conversation across the room.

Conocía la marca al tener otros auriculares más grandes y sonar fantásticos. Estos también tienen un sonido bueno (quizá yo quisiera más potencia en los bajos), muy claro en tonos medios y agudos. Son muy cómodos de utilizar (yo no consigo estar cómodo con los que no tienen sujeción sobre la oreja siempre se caen, y estos nos se caen y se escuchan siempre perfectos), aguantan muy bien el sudor y el agua. La aplicación para el móvil está muy bien y desde ella puedes ecualizar a tu gusto el sonido, sin embargo el sonido es muy plano si no utilizas la aplicación. Se emparejan rápidamente y sin problema. Tuve dudas con otra marca al cogerlos pero estoy muy contento de haber elegido estos auriculares.
