Tiny but mighty (with an amp/subwoofer)
tl;dr – speakers give new life to old (vintage) techWanted to put an iPod Touch (2nd gen circa 1988 – 1st pic) and a Cambridge Soundworks FPS 1800 (circa 2000 – 2nd pic) back in service. Though I have the original speakers, I wanted to upgrade so I purchased these. Very pleased with the sound and volume – when set for nearby listening volume on the 1st floor, can hear some sound on the 2nd floor (house is open plan)That said, these speakers would work best in a small room (bedroom, dorm) connected to an amp/subwoofer combo as they are a great upgrade to OEM computer speakers. They are solidly constructed and a great value. They produce clear sound – I’ve been using them for a variety of music (though not EDM or other bass-heavy tunes). You’ll need to provide speaker wire (I used 16 gauge) with banana plug pins

They sound good, as rear speakers. It remains to be seen how long they’ll last with about two hours of daily use. I’ll update this review in a few weeks.

Adequate but mounts suck
They are perfectly adequate for what they are. They’re well built, they look good, and they’re the perfect size for mounting next to my desk.The sound won’t blow you away but it’s clear and balanced.My biggest gripe is the mounts. You effectively have to entirely disassemble them to get the screws in the holes to mount them. And they’re not adjustable so you’d better have them exactly where you want because they’re impossible to adjust.

Solid, inexpensive height/surround speakers.
I purchased these speakers several months ago after owning both the Saiyin center channel and bookshelf speakers. I was so impressed with those two models and wanted to utilize speakers from the same company for both my surround sound speakers and my height channels. The attached pictures show using these speakers in both those applications. I currently have a 7.2.4 speaker layout and these speakers have performed very well as both height speakers and surround sound speakers. I would not likely use them as bookshelf speakers for my right and left front channels but in their current applications they perform very well.I chose them specifically for those applications as they do not have any bass and I do not need them to have bass for height and surround sound effects. I have the two subwoofers set to handle that aspect of the auditory range. So if you are looking for inexpensive, well built speakers for surround/height effects then I have no problem recommending them.

Saiyin Wall Mount Passive Speakers
I bought these for when I am repairing old stereo equipment. I needed something that would fit on the workbench and I could hook up to test. They are perfect. They have good sound but please don’t think they are heavy duty speakers. I wouldn’t turn up a powerful receiver or AMP as they would probably blow. If you have a small system they will do fine.

The build quality is outstanding, I am still listening to the speakers, If used as rear speakers, these speakers will shine. I am comparing the speakers to some really great speakers. They sound great as intended, as rear speakers. In a smaller twenty watt system, the Saiyin speakers would be perfect.

Was skeptical at first. How ever after getting it set up with my stereo, I realized very quickly that i was missing out on how music can sound on a turn table. 10/10 and seamless install. 👌🏼 I fully intend to purchase 2 more in the future.
