Impressed by the App metrics. Trend line in App is key to leveraging the various metrics.
The scale shows 5 metrics (weight, body fat, BMI, skeletal mass, heart rate). The App shows even more metrics based on the electric connectivity. From prior weighings, the weight and BMI measurements are accurate. My blood pressure monitor gives me a more accurate heart rate; the variance is about 15% more via the scale.On the 4th morning, the scale showed only weight and heart rate. It turned out that the soles of my feet were too DRY and thus, the electrodes on scale were not measuring the other metrics. By wetting the soles of my feet the next morning, the scale was functioning fully. One could also put some body lotion on the soles.I found the (“Starfit”) App’s metrics very insightful. Since this model does not have a handle with electrodes (implying the small current does not run through the entire body), it does mean the measurement values have a certain accuracy level. I do not see this to be a major issue since it’s the TREND LINE that I am focused on. Thus, from a price performance, the scale and App more than meets my needs.Finally, the App on either platform (Apple, Android) can support recording data for my wife and my self. However, I decided for ease of referring to the data, that the measurement data be stored on our respective phones (mine was iPhone, hers was Pixel Android). This required both of us to register accounts on the App. I set the scale up for myself first so that my App/iPhone ‘owned’ the scale. When I next set up for my wife, I had to ‘share’ the scale to her phone App (“Device Setting / Share Device’ on my App will display a QR Code that her App on her phone will scan and recognize).Operationally, I am the first to weigh myself. I have my iPhone, have Bluetooth on, and start the App on my phone. Scale then connects to my iPhone (via APP) when I step on it briefly to activate it. I then go to “Measure” on App, step on the scale, and it goes through its reading cycle. When scale says “Bye”, then I step off. This is IMPORTANT, I have to switch off my Bluetooth to break the connection of the scale to my iPhone. This allows my wife’s Android phone to connect to scale (she goes through the same steps, step briefly on the scale to activate it, go to the App on her Android phone, go to “Measure” on her App).Net, you can avoid the preceding Bluetooth disconnect/connect steps if you keep all the metrics for various users on ONE phone.I highly recommend this smart measuring scale. The other metrics includes information on subcutaneous fat, fat free body weight, fat mass, visceral fat, muscle mass, bone mass, cardiac index. I am looking forward to seeing the trends for my short list of metrics as I start focusing on various improvements in my daily and exercise routines.

Definately worth it if you’re trying to stay on track
I wasn’t expecting much from a scale but this scale is actually awsome. The screen shows way more info than just weight like heart rate, BMI, body fat and other stuff I didn’t even realize I cared about until now. I like how it syncs to the app real easy so I can just check my progress without writting anything down. It’s also super precise and doesn’t randomly jump around like my old one. Looks clean too, fits right in the bathroom without being bulky. Definately motivates me more seeing the numbers change. There is so much info that it can make a chart for you to see your history as well. One of my better purchases this year. Looks super slick. Solid purchase.

Was mir direkt gefallen hat ist, dass man sich einfach draufstellt und man bekommt sofort das Gewicht angezeigt, ohne Wackeln oder langes Warten.Die Zahlen sind schön groß und gut lesbar, auch morgens mit halb geöffneten Augen. Ich hab sie auf glatten Fliesen stehen, da zeigt sie bisher immer gleich an – kein Hin und Her, wenn man mal neu aufsteigt. Die Messschritte mit 50g sind ziemlich fein, das merkt man gerade bei kleinen Veränderungen, etwa nach dem Sport oder einem „ausgedehnten“ Abendessen.Das Design ist schlicht – schwarzes Glas, quadratisch, modern – und wirkt im Bad angenehm unauffällig. Durch die kompakte Größe passt sie auch gut unter ein Regal oder ins Eck, wenn man sie mal zur Seite schieben will. Zur Reinigung kann ich sagen: Einmal mit einem feuchten Tuch drüber und sie sieht wieder aus wie neu.
