Great security camera
Works very well. Camera has nice view. You can set up different zones so you don’t get too many notifications. Easy to set up has very nice angles and picture quality.

Easy 1st line of security.
Well…. It’s a good start to video servalence. Very wide angle view. I would suggest you take a bit of time and look at the view and adjust the Ring accordingly. Very easy to use with Wifi. I believe it’s 2.4 ghz. Battery operated so I got a second battery because it take about 12 hours to charge it. 12 hours of no Camara drove me crazy even though one month ago I didn’t have it. My driveway is over 200′ long and I can see any car coming in. Like I said, a good start to your security. I now have one on the back door as well as a couple more. All battery so the bigger cams have a solar panel. FYI; these can be hard wired or solar recharged. Like I said, a start to your home video servalence. Night vision too. The motion sensitivity can be fully programmed up and down. Also zone for car or ‘someone’ and package delivery by alerts you get(if you want). I know when the cat wants in. Lol.

Great
Worked great and is like the 10th ring device I own. Very good devices and are perfect for letting you know that someone is at your door. Worked with alder doorbells chimes as well.

Fantastic video quality, great price – you can hardwire this device too
Just installed this to replace my first generation Ring Doorbell that I purchased in 2018. The first one still works great but the battery is starting to degrade and it’s also only 720 dpi. I will tell you this is such a huge improvement. And the price is better than what I got my first generation one for!! Gotta love these before Christmas sales. If you cannot tell (I could not based on the description), you can hardwire this device. At first I thought it was battery only. It still runs on the battery (which is very easy to replace and it secured by the special screw that needs the special screwdriver that comes with all Ring Doorbells). I almost returned this before I realized we we could hard wire this so that the battery continuously slow charges and lasts longer.Highly recommend so far! My last Ring lasted a fairly long time imo – 2018-2025 and it’s still good. I just didn’t want to deal with figuring out how to replace the battery and the video quality is not nearly as crisp as this one.

Solid video doorbell with great features, but most functions require a subscription
The Ring Battery Doorbell Plus works exactly as advertised. The video quality is clear, the motion detection responds quickly, and the head-to-toe view really does make a difference when someone is at the door. Setup was simple and the app is easy to use, so overall the doorbell itself performs well.My only regret is not researching a bit more before buying. I didn’t realize that to use all the features, you need a subscription. Basic functions still work without it, but things like video history, storing recordings, and some advanced alerts all require the monthly plan. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it would’ve been nice to know upfront.Aside from the subscription part, the battery life has been solid and the build quality feels sturdy enough for home or business use. If you’re okay with paying for the extra features, it’s a very good doorbell with reliable performance.

Definitely recommend this model.
I have had Ring for years now and I for sure recommend them for any household. I’ve never really tested out other brands because this one has been tried and true.Pros :Removable battery: This model has been my favorite so far due to the feature of the removable battery which allows you to keep the camera up on your door as the battery charges to appear as if it’s still on for anyone passing by, that is if you do not have an extra battery inside (I definitely recommend to purchase a second battery separately for peace of mind.) If you have a second battery, you literally never have to take the camera down ever which is probably the best feature of this model.Functionality : The functionality of the app is pretty useful. You can customize the detection sensitivity to your liking which is nice, but the software can be kind of picky as to when it decides to start recording after you change any detection area so I would personally leave it at the default settings but just max out the detection unless you have constant cars going by your residence on a busy street.Quality : The quality is pretty great and clear enough for me but I live in an apartment complex with hallways where everything in front of my camera is no further than 10 feet, so I definitely recommend the quality on this model if you live in a apartment complex with hallways as you don’t really need any higher quality than this. I can’t speak for anyone with a front yard, or for anyone needing night vision either as my hallways are always lit.Signal : The signal from my wifi has never dropped unless we have an internet outage. I always get notifications when i’m out and about or at work. The ring community on the app is a nice feature too as you can see what is going on around your neighborhood such as nearby missing pets, break ins, etc.Design : The design looks slick to me on my white door and of course recognizable to almost everyone of what kind of doorbell camera it is. The doorbell literally “rings” when someone hits its circle button doorbell which then pops up as a notification on your device. Everyone who needs to see me always use the doorbell because it’s hard to miss instead of knocking which is sometimes better depending on the scenario because the notification from the Ring app is pretty loud on your phone if you’re in the shower or something.Battery : I’ve only had to charge the battery twice in the past 6 months with all of the settings maxed to the highest battery usage so battery life has been great. I would still recommend an extra battery for when you do eventually have to charge it.Con:Fees : Of course having to pay the subscription fee of being able to save and playback videos stinks but you really get what you pay for as it has been so useful to playback any saved missed moments from literally anywhere. Hopefully there are no more price hikes to come. There is some competition out there that offers free playback saves locally on an internal home device without a subscription, which I think can and will deter people away from Ring and try those devices out especially with everything needing a subscription these days.

I’ve been using this Ring Battery Video Doorbell Plus every day, and overall it’s been a solid addition to the front door. The 1536p video quality is clear and detailed — better than a lot of other doorbells — and it captures faces and packages really well, even in bright sunlight.Setup was straightforward and truly DIY-friendly. It connected to my Wi-Fi without much fuss, and the app walks you through each step. Once it’s up and running, the motion alerts are reliable and the notifications come through fast, so I always know what’s happening at the door. Two small things worth mentioning:Because it’s battery powered, I had to think about where to mount it so the signal stays strong and battery life stays good. Mine holds charge well, but if you get a lot of alerts it uses more power. Some features in the app, like advanced motion zones, take a little time to dial in just right. Once set, though, it works smoothly.Overall this Ring doorbell feels reliable, with very good video quality and easy install. Great choice if you want a solid wireless video doorbell that’s simple to set up and keeps you connected to what’s happening at home.

We love the doorbell. We just use it with the app. Very very easy to setup and use. We don’t need a subscription either. You can download anything you want to save in the app as well very easy! 😎 the quality is awesome too.

Love the camera aspect. However, it appears to only ring to a phone. This isn’t convenient when the phone hasn’t at the house. If we can find a way to have a “speaker” in the house, it would be a 5 star product.

I previously was using (without) issue the standard Ring Battery Video Doorbell (in copper colour); and bought the Battery Video Doorbell Plus when it went on sale during Prime Day.It has been a game changer, and is better in almost every way:1. The Field of View is SIGNIFICANTLY greater.I live a top a flight of stairs, and often when I had deliveries, I previously couldn’t view or be alerted of deliveries because the camera view of the standard Ring Doorbell didn’t reach the floor. The Video Doorbell Plus solves that problem as the field of view reaches from the floor to the roof. Maybe an extra 30 or 40 degrees improvement in field of view vertically. My floor to ceiling height is around 2.5m.Lateral field of view seems similar.2. Removable battery is a game changer.Having to remove the whole unit to charge for 8 hours with the standard Video Doorbell is a real inconvenience. Being able to just switch out the removable battery in the Doorbell Plus so there is no down time, is significantly more convenient. The battery still uses a micro-USB to charge. Don’t know why Ring isn’t using USB C by now (cable is included though)3. Less lag when going to Live View.I found with the standard Ring Battery Video Doorbell, it took up to 30secs to go to Live View when someone was at my door (usually around 15 to 20secs). By the time I connected the person or deliverer was gone. The Doorbell Plus allows me to connect to Live View in 1/2 to 1/3 of the time previously (5 to 10 secs usually). Significantly less frustrating.I don’t know whether the removable battery will last as long as the internal battery of the standard Video Doorbell. If there is significant decrease I will update my review.I liked the copper colour of the previous standard Doorbell (matches brickwork better), but I can buy removable faceplates I think.Overall, the Video Doorbell Plus is better, more convenient and functional, than the standard Ring Battery Video Doorbell, in almost every way. When on sale during Prime Day (with 40% off), the price of the two were almost similar. I can’t recommend the standard Doorbell if you can afford or can get the Plus version on discount. It’s better and less frustrating to use in every single way.

High quality video, lets me feel safe in my home. Amazon delivery drivers somehow always seem to dodge the camera, but it picks up everything else that comes up/past our driveway. The doorbell can connect to your phone which is neat.
