Power in Every Fold

Switch between 300W, 200W, or 100W. Fold it right, and performance stays strong.

In the wild, space is a luxury. Whether you’re parked on rough terrain or dealing with limited room to set up, you don’t always have the space—or clean ground—to fully unfold a 400W solar blanket. That’s why we designed ours to adapt.

With a smart folding design, you can switch between 300W, 200W, or 100W by folding along the widest seams. No tools. No extra gear.

Super compact and light weight with loads of power!
This is a fantastic panel that is far more compact than my other Renogy 400w solar suitcase panel. This is prefect for overlanding where things can get fairly tight when you have a lot of gear. Even when you are in a tight camp sight, you can toss this up on your windshield and hood of your vehicle, but it works just as good lying flat on the ground when I tried it. I got 384 watts out of it at peak solar hour lying flat on the ground. Renogy is a good brand that’s been around a long time, so I didn’t hesitate to choose this one. Because it’s so light, it’s really easy to move it around too. There are eyelets to connect some bungee cords or some rope or something if you want to secure it down. It works great, and It couldn’t be easier to set it up and use it.

    Love this solar blanket!
Love it! Great size, good weight, and works great! 400w of power helps charge our portable power stations quickly and keeps us powered up! You can hang it anywhere or even just lay it on the ground! You can even link them together to get more power if needed!

Good output, very portable. Quality appears good.

Works great with my MPPT charge controller and LiFePo batteries
Summary/TLDR: Works great and I get decent amount of power when aimed in the general direction of the sun. Even off axis, I get great power output from the panels. They are easy to set up and tear down. Extremely small and not too heavy. The 8-fold makes it nice and compact. Be sure to pick up some good suction cups to secure them. The wind can easily knock them off your car’s hood.Pros:Folds into a nice compact sizeCables are easy to get toFairly light so it’s definitely portable165W average power output in full sun. Good power even off axisMultiple tie-down points makes hanging them easyCons:USB ports for charging are not easily accessible as they are in the pouch where the cables are wound up and under the panels once it’s set up.The panels kept my batteries topped off while running two electric coolers, lights, diesel heater, charging devices and a small rice cooker. Whatever power I used overnight was fully recharged by late afternoon. I am extremely happy with the unit and highly recommend it to anyone looking to use solar panels as supplementary charging for your batteries when off grid camping.

Very high quality and easy to use.
This is a great product. Paired with a Renogy Solar controller, I can charge my power station with ease. I love how it folds up and stores so conveniently, and has a nice zippered pocket which perfectly holds the leads and controller. The canvass material is of exceptional quality. Well worth the money.

A great addition for multi-day car camping but be sure it meets your power needs.
I purchased the Renogy 200W solar blanket to charge my EcoFlow Delta2 1024 wH battery while on week-long car camping trips. The solar blanket fits great on the roof of the 2022 Ford Escape (see photo). It is quick to add and remove from the roof when parked for a lunch break. Similarly it works on the ground or the picnic table a campsite.I love its light weight and very compact size.I live at 45 deg north latitude. So I was interested at how well it worked when dropped flat on the ground, table or car top rather than tilted to the ideal solar noon angle of 20-40 degrees with a south orientation. So I ran a test in May on a partly cloudy day with the sky varying from cloudy to overcast to clear from 10am to 1pm (solar noon DST) and the panel flat on a porch deck table. See the table in the screenshot of the power recorded from the EcoFlow screen. For the record, overcast (oc) is 90-100% cloud coverage, cloudy 70-90%, partly cloudy/sunny 30-70%, mostly sunny/clear 10-30%, clear 0-10%.As you can see, from 9-10am the average output was 71W/h with a peak of 143W. From 9-11:39 am, the average output was 104W/h with a peak 164W. At that point the battery was charged from 73% to 100% in roughly 2:40.Since the battery filled before solar noon (1:18pm DST) and I wanted to test it at maximum, I plugged in a 690W kettle to load the EcoFlow and continued the test up to solar noon. See the second table from 12:09 am to 1:10 pm. During the 1 hour period the average of the measured output was 129W and the EcoFlow 1024 charge gained an additional 12% or 123 W/h with a peak measured output of 195 W at 12:34 under real world conditions. This is a very good result. I have an older100 watt portable panel attached to a Jackery battery but angled towards the sun. While the 200W blanket was yielding 140W, the 100W portable was charging the Jackery at 70W. The solar blanket packs down to a much more convenient size for the car than the 100W panel and while slightly heavier is less cumbersome to carry (see size comparison photo). And of course it provides power for twice the charging speed.[BTW, be sure to download the manual PDF from Renogy.com. It is more complete than the product insert.]
