Incredibly efficient + powerful battery pack with emergency light + versatile ports
My portable power bank came charged at 74%, and I left it charging for a few hours to bring it to 100%. By the time it hit 91%, I was getting ready for bed and needed to charge my phone too — not a problem: simply use another cable to charge my phone at the same time the battery bank charges. Worked flawlessly, but obviously slowed the charge such that it was only at 92% when I awoke. I can confirm that it charges at (at least) the rate of my phone’s fast charging, which caps out at 21W. Since the specs list 22.5W and it charged my 21W phone the teensiest bit, I think that rating is accurate.Make no mistake, this bad boy is HEFTY: it weighs in at 690g, or 24.34oz. I measured an estimated 6.5″ length, 3″ wide, and 1.125″ thick. It’s not small by any means, and its weight means it’s definitely more suited to be carried in a bag than a pocket. Still, it isn’t impossible to carry directly in your pocket as long as your pants won’t sag as a result. Luckily, it has a handy leather-esque soft strap for carrying it without dropping it.All this heft isn’t there without reason, of course: this thing will charge multiple devices without breaking a sweat! I spent the recent holiday at my sister’s house, which only has a single accessible outlet for me and my 5 siblings to use. Far from ideal. Luckily, I had just gotten this power bank the day before and it lasted all night (from 4PM to 1AM) charging 4 different phones on and off with 54% leftover. I’m cheesed, plain chuffed!It has USB-A and USB-C ports for charging for pretty much every device you could possibly think of needing to charge or power up. I have used it successfully to provide consistent power to a PlusLife machine to run SARS-CoV-2 and Flu A/Flu B/RSV tests without causing error.I plan to take this power bank with me everywhere for travel and camping, because I know it’ll fast-charge at least two phones easily with plenty of battery to spare. The built-in light is BRIGHT; I made the mistake of trying it the night I received it, when my lights were off and immediately blinded myself for a second. It’s a great emergency light, and this power bank would be an excellent addition to an emergency go-bag or emergency car kit too.
