Best Light Strip
I picked up the 10ft Solo strip to put behind a media console. It offers the premium Philips Hue color quality at a lower price point than their standard “Lightstrip Plus,” but it has one major limitation you need to know before buying.Incredible Brightness: At 1700 lumens, this is significantly brighter than cheap alternatives like Govee or generic Amazon brands. It’s bright enough to be the primary light source in a dark room, not just “mood lighting.”True Colors (RGBWW): This is a “White and Color Ambiance” strip. It has dedicated white LEDs, so you get actual warm soft white (2700K) or daylight cool white (4000K) for reading, rather than that weird blueish-purple white you get from cheaper RGB strips.Bluetooth Ready: You don’t need the Hue Bridge hub to use it. You can control it directly from your phone via Bluetooth right out of the box.Value: It is cheaper than the standard “Lightstrip Plus V4” kit, making it a great entry point into the Hue ecosystem.NOT Extendable: Unlike the standard Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus, the “Solo” model cannot be extended. There are no pins at the end to plug in an extension. If you buy the 10ft version and realize you actually needed 12ft, you are out of luck. You cannot add to it.Cut = Waste: You can cut this strip to size, but unlike the pro version, you cannot easily reuse the cut-off piece or reattach it. Quality product that works great
I recently got a larger 77” LG OLED tv and installed this for backlighting. The process was very easy and it looks great. As a precaution I did add extra adhesive strips at the corners where I made small loops to change directions (thanks to a YT video for the suggestion to use make loops). The app is very easy to use and has lots of options.

Expenssive but very nice and customizable light.
Solid 4 star light strip. It’s pretty expensive, but setting those hue scenes is pretty awesome. Worth it if you are flush with cash. The adhesive on the back does not work great so a little disappointed in that but I’m still keeping it.

A Game-Changer for Dark Spaces!
I recently invested in Philips Hue light strips, and I can confidently say they are a five-star product! These aren’t just lights; they’re an experience. The setup was incredibly straightforward, and integrating them into my existing Hue system was a breeze. The adhesive on the back is strong, making installation easy on various surfaces.Where these light strips truly shine for me is in my previously dark and frustrating closets. I have two closets that, for some inexplicable reason, were built without any internal lighting or outlets. Before, rummaging through them was a chore, relying on a phone flashlight or opening the main room lights. Now, with the Hue light strips, both closets are beautifully illuminated, making it so much easier to find clothes and organize. The ability to control the brightness and color temperature has been fantastic – a cool white for practical searching and a warmer glow for a softer ambiance.My only minor gripe, which is entirely due to my house’s wiring, is the lack of an outlet inside the closets. This means I have a power cord running out from each closet to the nearest wall outlet, which isn’t the most aesthetically pleasing. However, this is a small price to pay for the incredible convenience and improved functionality these light strips provide.If you’re looking to add brilliant, smart lighting to any area, especially those dark corners or closets, Philips Hue light strips are an absolute must-have. Highly recommended!

Expensive but perform very well.
The Philips Hue line of products is top tier. Setup with the hub takes no-time and quickly. LED quality is also unmatched. The Hue products are pricey but for the quality they will perform.

these are great, so far i have not had any significant issues with the adhesive peeling off. i guess it depends on where you stick them (stuck mine on the back of my ikea desk) its really easy to connect them to the hue app via bluetooth, and once you do so its easy to change the color, brightness, and speed of changing colors.
