The electronic modules are based on the OSOYOO MCU board, which is Arduino-Compatible. Whether you are a beginner or professional, building this kit is guaranteed to be an educational experience and super fun. You will learn about electronic circuits, coding and programming, and
robotics.
Most Arduino robot kits in the market today use an outdated toy-like differential steering to make the turns. The OSOYOO robot car features an easy-to-install servo power steering rack, enabling a highly automated driving experience that imitates the feel of real-world vehicles.

OSOYOO Motor Shield
The OSOYOO Motor Shield is based on the L293DD, a monolithic integrated high
voltage, high current four channel driver. It is designed to accept standard DTL or TTL logic levels
and drive inductive loads of solenoids, DC and stepping motors, and switching power transistors.
The OSOYOO basic microcontroller is a reusable part where you can connect components from
other projects and complete a variety of amazing experiments in robotics. The OSOYOO
Motorshield will also allow you to connect with various plug-in modules to drive motors and monitor
sensors and even connect wirelessly via Bluetooth or WIFI protocols.

Featuring a highly advanced power steering system to turn the wheels at a steering angle to about 90 degrees in either direction. This electric power steering system enables a highly automated driving experience that imitates real cars; it is controlled through a metal steering gear with calibrated steering precision, high stability, and sensitivity. WIFI IoT Controlled
OSOYOO ESP8266 WiFi Module integrates with Arduino Internet of Things (IoT) prototyping and learning modules. We optimized it to integrate with the robot car based on WiFi. You can rely on the app to control the robot through your iOS or Android device.

Smart Obstacle Avoidance Feature
A cool and innovative feature, the OSOYOO robot smart car will automatically detect obstacles in front of it through the integrated sensors in any direction. The sensors send ultrasonic waves and calculate the distance, keeping your car away from a collision.

Loads of Fun with Line Tracking
The line tracking modules consist of sensors at the bottom of the car; you can program it to follow the track/line you designed. The system works with its infrared transmitter tube and an infrared receiver tube. Simply mark your track as a line on a flat surface, start the car and prompt it to follow the track; you can even make it race another robot car to see which one reaches the finish line first.

Good product but hard assembly
Good product but hard assembly. Even with video I had to back up a few steps but got it put together, just can’t get the software needed.

Well designed, clear instructions
I like this kit as it provides a basis for learning the key elements of controls and interface with electronics. I purchased it for my son so he could learn programming early. It took us some time to put it together but it was all fun. It’s a great kit, parts are very sturdy. I highly recommend it

Instructionaly challenged
there are no instruction included with the kit. The builder must use instruction videos on line which are challenging at best. Very fast paced and often covering step with there hands. Marking on the packaging is also a challenge since the instruction call outs sometimes do not directly correlate to the markings on the packaging. On the up side it will definitely challenge the builder. I would not recommend this manufacture of this kit.

Great Present for Engineer/Comp Sci Majors
I got this as a present for my boyfriend who is studying engineering right now. He loves the coding application and all the little parts you use to build the car, and a plus side to this kit is that you are able to make your own body for the car. It expressed his creative side, and gave him a nice past time to do on the weekends

Video instructions are great. Easy to assemble. I’d you love putting model cars together as a kid. You’ll love this project.

Not for young children
Be careful if you want to buy this car. The only instructions are on YouTube videos where you watch a Chinese girl putting it together you’re watching over her shoulder. You can get the car together fairly well, but then you have to know computer programming to finish the project. My son and I came to a grinding hall at that point and couldn’t finish. Not for young children. Perhaps a very computer savvy teenager might be able to do it.
