From now on, Halo users can enjoy a sound experience and cushioned feel tailor made for a custom keyboard, without having to build one. Sometimes, it is just that simple.

Introducing mSA, the high-profile sibling of our much imitated nSA profile, which after more than two years of development has now became available for Halo users. Small tweaks are many: a little adjustment to the SA height for more ergonomics, the larger round surface and symmetric design are a nod to the nSA.

HIGH QUALITY, SOLID BUILD, BUTTERY SMOOTH KEYS
So this keyboard is actually better than I expected. I have a few keyboards but this is by far my favorite so far. Grant it, it is the most expensive of my keyboards and I can’t wait to compare to the Razer I plan to get soon, but my honest opinion on this keyboard is nothing less than OUTSTANDING!! Like it’s solid as hell, and I mean it’s got some weight to it. It does not feel flimsy at all, and the components aren’t rattling at all if you shake it. It’s got a nice metal feel to since it is made of Aluminum. It has a high quality plastic casing on the bottom half of the keyboard so that the RGB shines through. Also, it’s cool that it comes with Mac specific caps but also the Windows specific caps, so you get to choose which to use. Since this is mainly for my Mac, I will use the Mac specific caps. Also came with one cute cat key cap that I used in place of the ESC button. And they also sent three switches for their three colors for this Halo brand board. So the Lemon, which I chose, then Mint, and finally the Raspberry. I used the three different switches on my board just for those moments that I was to hear the difference. The difference, by the way, is very slight, in my opinion. The video I made doesn’t do it justice. You can look on youtube for more sound tests for these three switches. I think I will try the Mint next though. I was struggling between Mint and Lemon and went with lemon based on reviews. I love the sound sooooo much. The sound paired with the smooth key strokes, is just next level.I haven’t fully messed with the RGB yet, but I love it so far. I will say that, it’s not as bright as one of my RK Royal Kludge 75 keyboards, but it’s still pretty awesome. Also, I got the Blue keyboard so I think that affects the visibility of the RGB a bit. But still, great. You can change the key caps to something you like that may help to enhance the RGB a bit as well since the blue of the keyboard kind of drowns it out. Its still very bright, but there’s just so little spacing between the keys, that lights has a difficult time escaping. A white keyboard would have definitely helped to illuminate the RGB more but still very good good and bright and, again, you can swap the caps if you wanted to. Not an issue for me since the rest is so great. The keystrokes themselves feel like butter when typing and has a pleasant “tock” sound to them. I mean it feels and sounds (if that’s even possible) like butter. So smooth. Even my BF noticed immediately the sound and was so satisfied by listening to me type. The best part really is the feel of the board. It’s just feels so high quality and it’s heavy and of course, the way the keys feel when typing is just soooo addicting. You will love it.I got this specifically for my MAC M4 Pro. I have a Windows PC too with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-14900KF. But I also like Mac products so I got one but I hate the magic keyboard so much. I just didn’t want to waste money on it. So I was in the market for keyboard that is tailored towards Mac and after some research I found this one being the best third party keyboard for Mac and it definitely has exceeded my expectations. So glad I got this. I was going to only use it for my Mac but now I am using it for both my Windows and Mac. It has key configurations for both and has settings that allow you to change it between bluetooth, wired. So I leave it wired for Window and enable the Window switch, and then when I use my Mac I just enable the Mac switch and select the bluetooth key I see for it. You can setup 4 different bluetooth items to it, so thats cool. The bluetooth wasn’t great with my Windows tho, so I prefer the wired for Windows. The bluetooth has been fantastic with Mac though. All in all, just wanted to leave a review to express my gratitude for this keyboard. I am very pleased with it and will definitely be buying from Nuphy again. I want the Sakura board next time. This time it was out and I didn’t want to wait for longer shipping with their website. But next time I’ll get that. Maybe i’ll get the 75 keyboard instead. I love my number pads though.Thank you for reading!

I genuinely love this keyboard.
Okay, this might be a little scattered, I apologize, haven’t taken my adhd meds today lol. But this keyboard is the best bang for your buck, and I mean that whole heartedly. I’ve included pictures and a video of before, during, and after my modding.BUT HERE WE GO,Fresh out if the box this thing is AMAZING. This is my first gaming keyboard i’ve purchased myself (i was given a 60% to borrow from a friend until I could afford my own). This is much better than a 60% because it has a beautiful keypad (i can’t function without one). It’s very creamy/thocky, almost poppy? sounding. The video doesn’t do it justice, it’s not as harsh as it sounds in the video, I promise. The keyboard itself is GORGEOUS and does not feel cheap by any means. I mean like this thing really feels like a quality keyboard. It’s sturdy, but not TOO heavy. It could be used straight out of the box, but personally I wanted different switches and keycaps, and the keyboard was even easy to swap everything out. THE SWITCHES ARE 100% HOT SWAPPABLE, no confusion there. The switches it came with were some type of teal or mint colored, linear, PRE LUBED (you can see some of the lube on the switch itself)!!!!!!!!!!!! switches. And honestly, I almost didn’t switch them out, but I had already pre-purchased my yellow switches a few weeks ago.The packaging itself felt like quality material, and it was packaged very nicely. It came with a dual sided key cap and switch remover, instructions, cute stickers, 3 extra switches (a teal/mint, a random yellow, a random red), and extra key caps. The wire is SOLID, i mean the thing is thick and sturdy, it’s an amazing wire, and at least 3ish feet long? The dongle is itty bitty and fits perfectly between my other plugged in wire chaos. There’s a small notch on the keyboard where a dongle shaped dustcover is placed, but is meant for the dongle if not utilizing the piece or moving it around/travel.I don’t use regular bluetooth, so I will not speak to that, but I have used wired and after letting the whole thing charge, the 2.4 dongle connection works perfect. Has settings to work with windows OR mac, can be wired, bluetooth, or dongle connected. There are roughly 4 brightness levels and an off setting. THERE ARE TWO SEPARATE LIGHT SETTINGS! The face of the keyboard itself, and the auxiliary lighting AROUND THE EDGE/BASE. You can change both settings to whatever color, speed, and brightness you want. Make sure you actually read the directions in order to do this, or you will go insane lol!!!!!! But once you understand, it’s simple and easy to remember. There’s tons of colors to choose from, quite a few different speeds as well, and some dope patterns to choose from (like 15 i swear!)The key caps that came with it are really nice, the space bar has a special piece on the center that keeps it quiet. The overall feel out of the box is nice.I replaced the switches with Gateron Milky Yellow V3 switches, and replaced the keycaps with a pink jelly set I found, yet again here on amazon. After switching everything, which felt almost way too easy, it still worked perfect, meaning no compatibility issues. It supports my 5 pin switches. It’s heavy (like I said, but not TOO heavy), sturdy, and has 2 DIFFERENT LEGS ON THE BACK SO YOU CAN CHOOSE THE HEIGHT OF THE INCLINE FOR YOUR WRISTS.Overall, amazing keyboard

The mother of all mechanical keyboards.
The mother of all mechanical keyboards. Wow, I have been using DAS KEYBOARDS for some time – no problem with them, new PC, new keyboard and with a preference for bluetooth. Research highlighted the Nuphy keyboard and indepth research highlighted the Halo with Lemon keys (more resistance – perfect for writers.) Admitedly there was a delay to the next day on delivery – nothing major. Upon lifting the box, I was astonished at the weight – this is bonafide steam punk. The size is perfect. Setting up could be easier – Jap[anese translated instructions were a tad difficult to decipher – but if youve ever installed anything for wireless integration, its all standard fair. Usage – the keys are amazing, positive, smooth, lovely noise. The buttons to turn on wi-fi and the Usb slot are A-grade. The design is solid, really looks and feels quality and is a joy to use. No complaints so far – would highly recommend – just make sure you know what you want to use it for – ie the air is the light version if you want portability – the Halo I have could double as an offensive weapon. Also take time to understand if you want gaming key switches or more traditional typing switches. Again, I am staggered by the quality, feel, the looks and would purchase other products from them.

Great keyboard when plugged in, wireless is okay
Great sound and feeling, wireless connectivity could use some work. Looses connection when using the receiver sometimes. I bought two of these. Both have the same wireless inconsistencies. They will randomly “lag” when using them wirelessly. You will type and nothing will happen for a about 2 or 3 sec then all inputs will show up. Tested with at least 6 different systems with the same issue. Wired has 0 issues. One of them ended up with 3 dead switches after 4 months. The other has no issues after 14 months so far.

This is my second Nuphy Halo 96. I have the V1 which was great with the Night Breeze switches. The colorway on this one swayed me to try the new, as well as the upgrade on the base lighting. I don’t really love the Halo light on the V1.The keyboard is great with the yellow tactile switches. My only suggestion for anyone getting this board, make sure you get the firmware update into it. There are 3 different updates that need to go into the keyboard. It’s a bit of work doing this and it could be easier, but there are instructions on the website. This fixes an issue where the keyboard was missing quick double key strokes. If you don’t update it will keep happening, at least on 2.4ghz which was my experience.I would love if Nuphy did this keyboard in a dark emerald green colorway. That would make me hurt my wallet again.
