Good monitor arm, solid!
This is my 3rd monitor arm purchase and will say this has been the easiest and most convenient one to date.Plusses:~The internal clamp design makes this very easy to get started without having to pull a desk out from the wall or have to manuever under the table to get fitted tightly.~Very solid hold, no flex in the post or the arm when it’s extended.~Assembly after that is fairly simple, all parts fit together nicely.~The VESA plate has a drop-in option on the 2 upper securements. Just loosely start the screws in the monitor and then drop the monitor onto the plate. Add the other 2 screws and tighten from there.~Easy to adjust positions & lock into place in all directions.Difficulties:~Minor difficulty for my monitor – it has a inset mounting area so getting the screw heads aligned by myself was an interesting balance of the monitor on my shoulder and trying to see around the curve to get these set in place. This was on anLG 43″ curved monitor, so may be easier to manage on other monitors.Good choice for the money, best monitor arm I’ve had so far!

You must drill a hole in your desk to use this monitor arm!
I didn’t realize that you needed to drill a hole in your desk to use this monitor mount, so I returned it- as I’m not willing to drill into my desk.This may be stated somewhere in the product description, or in a photo that I missed- but it wasn’t prominently displayed clearly enough at the time of my purchase that I realized I’d have to drill into my desk to use it.It seems of good enough construction, but since I was unwilling to drill into my desk, I can’t speak to its ability beyond that.

Really solid monitor arm that made my setup so much better
Got this for my 34 inch ultrawide monitor and I’m pretty happy with it. The thing is way sturdier than I expected. My old cheap arm would sag after a few hours but this one holds my heavy monitor rock solid all day long. Setting it up was actually pretty straightforward. I used the clamp mount on my desk and it fit perfectly. The instructions weren’t amazing but they got the job done. Took me maybe 20 minutes to get everything hooked up and adjusted. The adjustability is really nice. I can pull my monitor closer when I’m gaming and push it back when I need more desk space. Being able to tilt it up and down is great too because I switch between sitting and standing throughout the day. My neck doesn’t hurt anymore from looking up at a fixed monitor. The cable management stuff works well. Got my power cord and USB cables running through the arm so my desk looks way cleaner now. Before I had wires everywhere and it drove me crazy. Only thing I wish is that the height adjustment was a tiny bit smoother. It’s not bad but takes a little effort to move up and down. Not a big deal though. This would be perfect for anyone with a big monitor who wants to free up desk space and get better ergonomics. Way better than the flimsy stands that come with most monitors.
