Enjoying so far
We had to switch from our bulbs because they were no longer functioning with the Alexa. These were easy to set up except for trying to use the same routine name. I love having the option to dim and to go from white light to soft light. They seemed to be priced well and comparable to other brands, but I wanted the ‘matter’ brand for the ease and compatibility. There are a lot of colors to choose from and I do enjoy watching my daughter have fun with all the presets.

So easy to link to Alexa
Works like a charm. Replacement for a different brand that suddenly stopped connecting, these connected easy. Simple to use with or without Alexa.

Easy setup and compatible across platforms
I had to replace a few old bulbs and plugs that were only compatible with Alexa. The Linkind smart bulbs are Matter compatible, which means I can connect them to both, Alexa and Apple Home. They’re set up and connected to both systems within 2 minutes and I don’t need a bridge anymore to make my accessories work. Also, they turn on and off gradually which is very nice. They react to inputs form Apple HomeKit or Alexa immediately but have a nice ramp up to 100% brightness.Best smart bulbs I’ve had so far.

Decent bulbs
Update: The seller addressed my concerns and I am happy with the resolution provided. After updating the firmware these bulbs work with HomeKit without using a separate app, although they do not support adaptive lighting. I would consider buying more of these in the future if adaptive lighting can be added via firmware update.Initially I was happy with these bulbs, they are priced well and matter compatible. However, after pairing them to HomeKit I noticed that two of the 6 bulbs were not maintaining their WiFi connection. I have not had an issue with any other devices, and I am using 2.4ghz for my smart home. Also, the music and adaptive features for these bulbs are not available through Apple Home.In an effort to improve the connection and use all of the advertised features, I downloaded their “Aidot” app from the Apple App Store. I registered and re-paired all 6 bulbs through their app first, then HomeKit. The two problematic bulbs still had the same issue, and all of them were difficult to pair through the Aidot app, requiring multiple attempts to connect to WiFi. They all installed a firmware update which I hoped would resolve the issues. However, this did not resolve the problem. Finally I decided to reset the two bad bulbs, and then pair them in HomeKit first, then the Aidot app. This did mostly resolve the connectivity issue, with occasional disconnects for a minute or two.My real issue comes with their app. I installed it on my iPhone 15 pro, set everything up, and went to sleep. When I woke up my battery had drained from 90% to 12%. Upon checking the Battery usage, the Aidot app had been consistently running in the background since I installed it. Force closing it temporarily stops the behavior, but it did massively drain my battery when left in the background.

simple to connect to Apple HomeKit
This connects in seconds to Apple HomeKit, and I can use HomeKit and even Siri to change the color…pretty wild. So far i has worked flawlessly. I’m using this outdoors in my lamp post where it is protected from the elements.

So far they’re great!
For some reason, the app from the last smart bulbs I bought just decided Nope! I went thru the whole list of restarts, and reinstalls and re-adds and EVERYTHING and I could not get the app to 1) add certain bulbs or 2) connect to Alexa. So I bought this bundle of bulbs and plugs from Linkind so everything is now on the same app. They all added seamlessly. The Aidot app linked to the Alexa skill easily and my whole system is back up and running just fine. And I would also like to note that I have extremely hinky internet. I initially thought the problem with the old app was the internet and that I would have the same issues with the new hardware. Nope. All is fine! We shall see if they last cuz another problem I had with the old bulbs was they didn’t seem to last very long. Fingers crossed. PS-the whole Matter thing? I thought it was something else altogether and I just ignored it and set mine up as regular bulbs and plugs.

The Matter function is not working properly. Unable to reconnect to the router automatically
The connection of matter is unstable, and the wifi reconnection is offline instantly, and it cannot be reconnected. Its Matter support is absolutely terrible. I connected 12 bulbs to Google Home, and they kept going offline one after another—there wasn’t a single moment when they all stayed connected. I kept resetting and reconnecting each bulb at least five times, and in the end, I just gave up. I’m certain its Matter function is not working properly.

Works except for when it doesn’t.
They link to Apple HomeKit as advertised. Every once in a while, they’ll decide to desync, and then you have to manually turn off the lamp/fan/whatever it’s plugged into and then turn it back on to fix it. Better than some products I’ve dealt with where I’ve head to reset them altogether, but it still isn’t ideal. As of a recent update, they’ve been desyncimg more often which is really frustrating. However, when they do work, which is usually, they’re a delight. My personal favorite part of it is a mode that allows you to have them mimic a candle flicker. It’s a really cozy vibe. They get very very bright, and oh so dim as well. I personally keep them at around 15% brightness to coincide with the candle effect. They don’t seem to produce much heat if any, which is always nice, and there’s also a big wide selection of colors. Aside from the connection issues, I really am a big fan.
