Overall great keyboard, well worth the money
I have only owned this keyboard for a couple weeks, which is why I only did four stars. So far I really enjoy it, it pairs easily and operates seamlessly. There hasn’t been any lag or delay in response to pressing keys/buttons, the backlight works well and has three brightness levels. Can’t really comment on the battery but I have only charged it once after opening it and have used it a couple times a week for approx 30-60 minutes each time and it’s still at 100%. The build quality is solid, it looks great and feels durable.Overall I’m very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone in the market for one.

Great keyboard!
I like how the directions were clear to connect. The keyboard works well. Great product for the price.

High quality and very thin, but one issue with the Pencil
The case fits the iPad very nicely. The magnets in the keyboard hold the iPad firmly in place, and the quality looks good. What I like:Design: The keyboard is very thin. When it is closed, it doesn’t make the combination of the iPad and cover too bulky.Battery: It seems to hold a charge pretty well and lasts quite a while.Features: I like that the keys are backlit. Why I removed a star:Apple Pencil: My Apple Pencil won’t stay fixed to the iPad very well when the case is closed.Price: I feel the value is just “so-so” since I paid $89 for it.

Excellent Keyboard for Apple IPad Pro (4th Edition). Good alternative to Apple Magic Keyboard
This is an excellent alternative to the Apple keyboard case. Keys have nice travel and typing is easy. There is no latency with the keys or the trackpad. The major difference between the Apple keyboard and this one is that you do not have pass through charging and this connects through Bluetooth rather than the Smart Connector on the Apple device. In other words, you have to charge the case separately from the iPad but you can charge both at the same time and you have to pair this keyboard case to the iPad. Not a big deal. The case stays charged for a long time. I use a Belkin charging block with two usb-c cords when I need to charge both at the same time. The Apple version is $299, that is, more than three times the price of this at $89.99. If you have a Fourth generation IPad Pro, this will work on it otherwise you will have to buy a IPad Air keyboard case instead of the newer Pro keyboard at the $299 price. Also a word of caution, when you open the case holding the top cover only, the IPad does not stick to the top. . The iPad stays in place otherwise. Just hold the bottom part of the keyboard when you open the case and you will not have a problem. The very important advantage to this keyboard over the Apple case is that it has that option for backlit keys, which the Apple version does not. If you are in a plane or a dark lit area, this is crucial.

Great Buy!!
It’s the perfect replacement for the apple Magic Keyboard! It works great with my iPad and I haven’t had any issues. It feels just like the apple one. The keys light up really well. Definitely worth the price. The typing is really responsive

First impressions
After seeing a couple of family members with the Apple Magic Keyboard, I started looking for one for my 2018 1st generation iPad Pro 11. I was concerned since my model is older and saw conflicting specs from Apple for their keyboard being compatible. I went to the local Apple store and tried out the keyboard. It didn’t come close to attaching with the magnets as it would sort of attach to one side but not the other and and vice-versa.I felt pretty good about the reviews for the Runelk here and decided to give it a try, knowing if there were immediate compatibility issues I could easily return. A lot of the lower reviews were the keys popping off, etc. so I decided to purchase the 3-year warranty for $11.99 for piece of mind.My impressions after 3 days of usage.- First understand that this is not an Apple Magic Keyboard, so do not expect it to operate the same. Keyboard to iPad connectivity is via Bluetooth (very simple to pair) and not via the Apple Smart Connector. The keyboard charges separately from the iPad and does not pass-through charge. These were not an issue for me as I fully understood that going in from reading the full descriptions and doing simple research.- Magnetic attachment if very good, maybe not as robust as the Apple keyboards my family have, but it has not detached when moving around or typing on my lap.- Bluetooth connected easily and reconnects every time I open the case.- Build quality also appears very good, especially for the priceFor $90 versus $300 for the Apple, I am quite please so far. If you have concerns based on the lowest reviews, purchase the warranty and you will still be at 1/3 the cost of the Apple.

Nearly perfect!
I am typing this review on this keyboard using my brand new iPad Air M3, which I was careful to order so that I could drop it right into this case upon unboxing, and after three days of heavy and daily usage, I can confidently say that this is a great alternative to the expensive Apple equivalent. The magnets in the case provide a snug fit to the back of the iPad and mirrors the floating effect of the Magic Keyboard very well. There is no identifiable lag as far as typing goes, although I am not the biggest fan of the trackpad, which seems to change in its level of responsiveness for next to no reason. Sometimes it works perfectly and I can use multitouch gestures to peruse iOS with almost no need to reach up to the actual touch screen, and other times (and more often than not) it doesn’t totally register my touch and gestures will fail halfway through. Though the trackpad needs work, the keys themselves feel nice and they provide a nice level of feedback for such a low profile. All in all, I am happy with my purchase and how it brings my iPad that much closer to being a genuine laptop replacement. If you happen to pick one up, you will not be disappointed, but just be sure to charge the case up as soon as you open it! The battery life is amazing, but it takes quite a long time to fully charge up!

There’re so many things to like about this keyboard. Firstly the delivery was way earlier than expected by 5 days! Delivery personnel was friendly and rang the doorbell instead of leaving item outside the apartment. So this had already impressed me much. Moving on to the keyboard itself, it’s easy to set up the iPad with the keyboard via bluetooth – press the Fn + C. There’s also a piece of leaflet to guide you to set up and troubleshoot the trackpad. On the topic of trackpad, it’s definitely not as intuitive as the one on the MacBook and because the keyboard is smaller, you’re bound to move the cursor around on the screen and sometimes open up application. However you can turn off the trackpad easily as stated in the leaflet. So keep the leaflet around to help you familiarise. Another thing about the trackpad is that you can go to Settings to select double click so you don’t have to depress the trackpad, just like how I use my MacBook trackpad. The keys aren’t stiff nor noisy, comfort to type on, but again will take some time to get used to the smaller setup as I’m very used to the size of the MacBook. The connection between iPad and the keyboard becomes intuitive subsequently – once iPad is turned on and the cover of keyboard is lifted they’re paired automatically. One indicator is that the red light flashed and then it goes on and the cursor comes on. If it’s still pairing the white light on the Caps Lock key would keep blinking. The only missing feature is no indicator on how much battery is left in the keyboard so I guess I’ll have to look out for the red light to flash perhaps. Took me an hour or lesser to fully charge the keyboard upon initial use, from red to green. Comes with a cable. The magnet is strong once the iPad is aligned to the cover it sticks on strongly. Some have mentioned it’s wobbly but on the table top it’s rather stable. Of course can’t expect it to be totally stable like the MacBook since the top is already weighted down by the iPad. The keyboard alone isn’t heavy but with iPad the entire set is as heavy as my old MacBook which is about 2.1kg, or even heavier. It’s compact though so it’s pretty neat to be able to slot this in a small iPad case to carry around. I haven’t try the real Apple magic keyboard so no way to compare but I think for the many pros and few cons, and this cost only a fraction of the cost, it’s a steal! Am keeping this 😉

wouldn’t connect despite following instructions. thought it may need to be charged so i charged it (4 hours like it said on the manual with the original charger) yet still no fixes. not worth the money cheap and crappy keyboard.

This was super easy to setup, and arrived way faster than expected. The only cons for this are: the weight – though I read reviews before purchasing so this was anticipated, it’s not overly heavy that I can carry around, but it was heavy than previous keyboard cases i’ve owned. I was expecting the screen to be able to tilt more, this has a lot of restriction but this might be due the mechanism of the keyboard itself so i can overlook it. Overall, it was definitely worth the purchase and serves me as i needed it to.

Es una funda robusta que protege bien el IPad. El teclado es sutil al tacto, y responde muy bien, al igual que el trackpad. Su emparejamiento fue sencillo, y cada vez que lo abro, se conecta de inmediato.
