Mix Sounds with Confidence!

You Asked, We Listened.
Since their release in 2018, our LP-6 studio monitors received accolades for their sonic accuracy, low distortion, and hyper-realistic imaging. As great as they have been, we knew that our product has the potential to deliver even better audio performance.
Taking consumers’ feedback and conducting extensive research and experimentation, we’re proud to offer an upgraded version of the celebrated LP-6 speaker — a version that’s quieter, has better frequency response, and features an overall improved sound profile!
The LP-6 V2 6.5″ Project Lone Pine Powered Studio Monitor is crafted for the requirements of discerning audiophiles and professionals!

Clean & Precise Sound Output
Audio accuracy is crucial for a solid mix. With this in mind, we equipped our upgraded studio monitor with an improved DSP system. This enhancement allows it to deliver an even flatter frequency response than its predecessor.
Aside from that, our 3-D imaging waveguide allows for an overall better audio output. This feature helps smooth out inconsistencies and reflections, thus making it easier to identify specific details and components of your mix.

Less Noise
With 12dB lower self-noise, our 2nd generation LP-6 monitor emits minimal to zero noise during playback in both low- and high-volume settings. By reducing the hissing or humming sounds, you can listen to your mix with exceptional clarity.
What’s more, the specially designed front port allows air coming from the monitor to exit at the same velocity. This helps minimize audible turbulence while keeping low frequencies sounding powerful.

Built for Performance
Our Class-D speaker monitor delivers up to 80 watts of power. This is evenly split at 40 watts between the 1″ HF textile dome tweeter and the 6.5″ LF optimized paper driver.
What’s more, it can generate a maximum SPL of up to 115 dB. With a generous dynamic headroom of 20dB, it can consistently produce 85dB sound output without any issues and can be heard clearly from a distance of up to 2.5 meters.
More Reasons to Choose the Kali Audio LP-6 2nd Wave Studio Monitor:

Effortless Setup
To help you get the most out of your monitor, we’ve included a visual guide that outlines the recommended EQ settings for different speaker placements. It’s printed directly at the back of the monitor so you don’t have to look for and read through lengthy manuals whenever you need to change the settings.
This bi-amped monitor has 3 different inputs. There’s the standard 0.25″ TRS input, an XLR input, and an RCA input for laptop or smartphone connections.

Fine-Tune to Your Preference
Our studio monitor comes with an updated boundary EQ to make it suitable for use on desks, as is the case with most modern home and professional audio room setups.
At the back of the monitor, you’ll find 8 DIP switches. With these, you can easily control the boundary compensation EQs, LF trim, and HF trim, thus making it easier to tweak the sound output to meet your needs.

Unenhaced audio
I enjoy the natural sound these speakers provide. They have enough punch to fill a room while not causing ear fatigue. The customer support answered any and all questions I had prepurchase promptly and without canned messages. A hard find when shopping anything nowadays. They also recomended an unbiased audio interface. The dip switches that are used to adjust frequency range and spatial sound are bit tedious, and offer minimal dynamics(to an untrained ear), “BUT” once you learn their functions they offer a peace of mind knowing you have properly adjusted the speakers audio to conform to your rooms acoustic dynamics. Thank you Kali!

Great speakers
Amazing sound and surprisingly very loud bass. It does get incredibly loud, I cannot turn them up that loud without going deaf.

Epic Studio performance at an amazing price.
They are among the best-sounding sets of monitors I’ve ever heard. I was going to buy the more expensive “big” name brand, but a studio musician friend insisted I get these. I’m glad I did.

developed a NASTY hum within 6 months
I absolutely adored these…at first. About a month ago I started to notice a hum at higher volumes, but my workspace is nearby to another’s so I try to keep it down. Then today, all the sudden out of nowhere it just went full on at quiet volumes. So I started unhooking things to find out where the hum is…and got down to just the speakers being on. Both do it. I have never experienced this before, so I can’t begin to tell you what might be going on…but for my studio monitors I am going back the the brand I have used for 30 years now and never ever had this issue. And of course at six months these aren’t returnable. Won’t take a chance on this brand again. Six months. Didn’t even come close to getting my money’s worth.

Accurate and loud studio monitors
These studio monitors are actually my first pair but they are a night and day difference from my monitor speakers I was using prior.Any audio interface will work well with this as I am using focusrite; THERE IS LITTLE TO NO HISS!

Kali LP-6 V2
I can’t say enough good stuff about this professional studio monitor. It sounds fantastic with clear and precise sound. Also has a eq for where you decide to place the monitor for the best sound possible. 80 watts of power is enough for any level you wanna listen to.

Great Sounding Speakers
I tested 7 different speakers – both consumer-grade and studio monitors – before deciding these were the ones. I realized I much prefer monitors that minimally color the overall sound – and love that you can tweak the frequency response through the dip switches. These were the largest monitors I tested and have plenty of bass. Although I tested some speaker/sub combinations, I really wanted not to need a sub – and the Kali LP-6 v2 delivered. You do need an I/O to use these. I already had the Motu M4. I also placed them on ISO-155 stands which helped the overall sound.
