I’ve been using the Garmin Instinct 2 Solar for a while now, and it’s quickly become one of the most dependable smartwatches I’ve ever worn. I recently upgraded to this solar version and I’m super impressed! This watch has a long battery life and works well for me in the military! Highly recommend getting for basic training as it is allowed in the Air Force

Wristband is uncomfortable garbage
See title. Get a cloth wristband. This is my only complaint about any Garmin wearable.Otherwise, my settings have a full charge set to go over 30 days, which is phenomenal. I love the flashlight, it’s super handy all the time. This replaced a Venu SQ, I used its screen as a flashlight all the time, now I have an actual one strapped to my wrist.No color or touch screen is fine, I do like that it’s “always on”, and visible even in dim light without needing to turn the backlight on (this is also configurable in the settings to either motion activate or not, I have it “not” for battery life)

I had an A-watch and having to constantly charge it everyday was becoming a pain so I researched solar and long battery life watches. I’d had a garmin watch before however I’d misplaced that one.I LOVE my watch. It had a flashlight built in which has been very handy.Battery = outstanding. Depending on which mode you’ve the watch in you can get 30 days +.Screen is very flat in bright sunlight and on dull dark days. It has a back light too.I’d recommend a solar garmin watch over any other brand of watch.

Took a shot at a “refurbished” unit as it was nearly half the price of new. Honestly, thrilled with it. The watch looked brand new. Not a mark on it. Works flawlessly, easy to set up and use. Been wanting a watch like this, but didn’t want the extra bells and whistles. Lightweight, feels like my Timex Shock watch, just a bit larger.
