Perfect for my motherboard!
My previous RAM sticks (16GB) only equated to 15.3 or something like that, but here, you’re actually getting the full 32GB and no obscure number. Easy to install, works perfectly. I’ve heard these last a long time, so you’re pretty much good to go with memory. No colors or brightness, though. Pretty standard. Way better than the ones that came with my pre-built.

Works perfectly in my first computer build. I went with a simple black sleek design and it looks nice in my build. It was easy to install. I did have adjust bios for it to run at rated mhz.

Defective !!! …. UPDATE
Item was defective. Although BIOS on my Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra MB configured this to run at the advertised speed of 3600 MHz (XMP Profile enabled) Windows would lock up repeated times on boot up. Only way I could get Windows to boot was to turn XMP Profile off, but then memory would only run at 2667 MHz (its not my motherboard because the same model memory I purchased from another seller several months ago works fine at the rated speed with XMP Profile enabled). Returning this and already processed an exchange. If I have issues with that one, will opt to return and buy this from same vendor I purchased the previous one from. Will update my review once the replacement memory arrives and is installed.UPDATE : I received the replacement RAM and they seem to work good … for now. I have a previous set of this memory already in my system that I had purchased a few months ago from another seller/site (NewEgg). The ones from NewEgg were Samsung IC’s. These new ones were Hynix (There are actually only a few actual memory chip manufacturers : Samsung, Hynix and Micron to name a few). The settings in the XMP profile were similar, except tRFC (This is the the Row Refresh rate in clock cycles … i.e. the number of clock cycles required to refresh a memory row). The lower, the better performance. The Samsung showed 661 (which is not all that great). But these Hynix showed 991! The BIOS will then configure the XMP profile for all chips to the slowest setting of any one chip, so this forced the Samsung to also have a tRFC setting of 991. Benchmark programs will show a difference between 661 and 991, though in reality, the difference would not likely be noticed in real world apps. Still I could not understand why G.Skill would package these with the same identical model number, but with different IC’s and different settings (ok, one setting). As I said, probably not a noticeable difference in real world setting but it is always better to have identical RAM in your system if you have multiple RAM sticks for stability. I will increase my review to 4 stars from 1, but not 5, mainly because I initially received a defective set; and 2) these are not quite identical to the same model I had purchase just a few months ago. On the plus side, G.Skill offers a lifetime warranty (and the warranty center is only maybe 35 miles from my home). So, here’s hoping for the best!

G. Skill has always been a top quality memory chip supplier and I have no complaints with this set. I actually ordered 2 of these complete sets totaling 256 GB in my X299XE motherboard. Running a I9 9820 X processor which I set up as an AI server. to date, the memory have run flawlessly with no errors and no hint of overheating.

Endlich hat AMD mit den Ryzen CPUs eine Alternative zu Intel auf den Markt gebracht.Da mein alter PC in die Jahre gekommen ist, wollte ich wieder einen neuen PC zusammenstellen, der wieder für einen längeren Zeitraum genutzt werden kann (mein alter PC war Baujahr 2009). Hier wollte ich dann auch gleich ordentlich RAM reinpacken, um nicht bald wieder aufrüsten zu müssen.Habe mir diesen Speicher aus Preis-Leistungsgründen zugelegt.Derzeit sind vergleichbare DDR4 PC3200er Module deutlich teurer.Da ich die übertriebenen Preise nicht unterstützen will, habe ich nach einem günstigen Speicher gesucht, der die Mindestanforderungen erfüllt, aber nicht zu langsam ist.Leider gibt es mit der neuen AMD Plattform aktuell Probleme, was die Speichermodule betrifft.Allerdings ist das nur für Übertakter relevant!Die Speichermodule werden in Verbindung mit einem ASUS ROG Crosshair Hero VI Mainboard und einer AMD Ryzen x1800 CPU eingesetzt.Diese sind auch prinzipiell kompatibel, und laufen problemlos, obwohl diese nicht in der offizielle Kompatiblitätsliste (QVL) des Mainbords stehen!Einen Wermutstropfen hat das ganze dennoch:Bei mir laufen die Module bisher nur mit maximal 2666MHz Speichertaktrate stabil (also nicht mit 3200MHz wie erhofft).Offenbar haben geduldigere Übertakter auch schon höhere Taktraten (2933MHz) zum fliegen gebracht, bei mir stürzen diese aber bisher immer wieder ab oder das System bootet erst gar nicht. Ich hab die passenden Settings vermutlich noch nicht herausgefunden…Es kann durchaus sein, dass mit zukünftigen UEFI/BIOS-Updates die Performance und Stablität steigt, aber derzeit ist das noch nicht der Fall.Hintergrund für die Probleme beim übertakten sind offenbar die verlöteten Hynix Chips. Module mit Samsung B-Die Chips laufen offenbar deutlich besser mit der Plattform und sind übertaktbarer. Wer also noch das letzte Quäntchen Performance aus einem AMD System kitzeln will, sollte einen anderen Speicher nehmen.Ich bin dennoch mit dem Kauf zufrieden:Bessere (für AMD zertifizierte) 32GB PC3200 Kits kosten derzeit mindestens 100€ bis 150€ mehr (oder noch mehr).Der Unterschied ist zwar in Benchmarks messbar, aber eben nicht so wirklich groß im Vergleich zu besserem RAM.Zudem fällt der Performance Unterschied erst dann ins Gewicht, wenn die CPU die Grafikkarte ausbremst.Dann sind es von 2666 auf 3200MHz etwa 2-5% mehr FPS Leistung.Und das ist mir der Aufpreis nicht wert… daher habe ich die Module behalten.Daher für mich ein gutes Produkt, aber für AMD User wie gesagt mit einer kleinen Einschränkung im High-End-Bereich.Der normale User kann hier bedenkenlos zugreifen.Edit: Update am 02.09.2017Aktuell mit dem letzten UEFI Update für das Board komm ich auf 2800MHz stabil (siehe Benchmark Bild).Ich bin gespannt, ob hier zukünftige Update weitere Besserung bringen.Aktuell bin ich immer noch zufrieden mit der Leistung.Edit: Update am 08.02.2017Es gibt ein neues UEFI-Update für mein Mainboard (ASUS ROG Crosshair Hero VI) => aktuelle Version 3502 !Dieses Update brachte eine deutliche Verbesserung.Ich komme nun endlich auf die gewünschte Taktrate von 3200MHz – allerdings nur mit einem maximalen CPU Takt von 3,9GHz.Wenn ich auf 4GHz übertakte, wird das System mit 3200MHz Speichertakt instabil. Allerdings sind 3127 immer noch drin.Interessanterweise wird bei höherem CPU Takt der Speicherdurchsatz SCHLECHTER. Ich habe beide Benchmarks zum Vergleich beigefügt.Meine Wertung verbessert sich nun auf volle 5 Sterne. Mehr als die 3200MHz kann ich nicht erwarten, daher bin ich sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf.
