Works perfectly with Alexa and you can control it from an app
I was wondering how this was going to play out but now it’s my favorite new plug! It was a bit expensive compared to a basic surge protector. This things is the new surge protector; it’s built strong (at least it feels that way) it’s pretty easy to set up you do need the FEIT app so if apps are not your thing then stick to a normal surge protector that’s cheaper and might be easier for you compared to this beaut. I am computer and technology literate and I got a tiny bit confused on how the plugs would work with 1 button and 4 plugs and then some. Works great!

Where have these been all this time!
First, I am an Apple user and have been so disappointed in using Apple compatible 3rd party compatible devices. I discovered FEIT when I purchased some smart lightbulbs and then discovered this programmable strip. Believe it or not, EACH plug on the strip is individually programmable and the FEIT app is 100% compatible with my Amazon Echo (Alexa). I have extensive track lighting in a 600 square foot great room and this strip now controls all of these lights as well as track lighting system in another room. It is so very simple to program and you can even comman ALEXA to turn on “x lights” at sunset or any other time you choose. I bought two of these strips and they completely replaced EIGHT othe (expensive) plug/switches. the only difference is that these strips work every time.

Loss of Power Does Resets Settings
Replaced 3 typical smart plugs with one power strip using less space with same functionality. Space is an important issue. Works as expected except when power is lost (which happens fairly often here), the ports revert to off rather than the state when power was lost. Which means, Alexa must be used to turn them back on. Main issue is that one of the four ports is used to provide power to a cordless phone which is left on constantly. Must remember to use the app to turn power back on to the cordless phone after a power loss. A setting of “always on” would have been nice but am adapting. Otherwise, this is a nice strip and meets most of my needs.

Most seamless and streamlined
I have tried various methods and products to automate my home in a hands off manner. I’ve had smart bulbs, other smart plug ins, etc. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST. The only downside, for me, is it’s not Apple Home Kit compatible. But, these things are reliable! I haven’t experienced a single issue with them due to internet or power outages. Whereas my smart bulbs and other smart plugs always required reconfiguring—which gets really old, really fast. So, after my most recent 16hr ordeal due to a vast internet outage in my area…. I noticed THIS smart device reconnected and was the only one that did! So, naturally, I bought two more. Initially I got this because it was for a grow lamp. But now, I’m replacing my smart bulbs and going this route. Sure, I won’t be able to dim my light bulb or set cool colors… but I’ll take “going half way old school” over the stress and time lost.***HIGHLY RECOMMEND***Should also mention, Feit makes light bulbs that I love—didn’t realize that until this most recent situation. lolBUY THESE! EASY TO SET UP! So easy a Boomer can do it! (Love to the Boomers.)

So far very impressed. Easy to set up if you are computer literate although it was not quickly but I got it connected to my items and set up on my phone so I can control each plug or usb individually. Wow! I don’t think we are in Kansas anymore Toto. It is the dawn of a new age. Bring in AI, which I probably can. Amazing.

Stopped working after 2 months

Me encanta la marca de Feit Electric, la app te permite ponerle nombre al dispositivo y también a cada contacto. También se puede configurar con temporizador para cada contacto y es compatible con Siri, Alexa y google

La verdad que el producto si se siente de calidad y se vincula muy bien con Alexa y Google Home. Pero el único inconveniente que le veo es que cuando se fue la luz en mi casa, no se prendió automáticamente, sino que hay que presionar el botón de encendido. Ese es un defecto, que, en mi caso si genera controversia porque yo tengo conectada la Alexa y pues no me va a escuchar y tengo que bajarme de mi cama a encender la regleta.Si para ti eso no es problema, adelante.Devolución iniciada, y buscaré otras opciones de regletas inteligentes.
