Just got the DJI Osmo Mobile 8 and holy crap, the stabilization is insane. Walking around the house chasing the dog or kids? Footage is buttery smooth, no shakes at all. The ActiveTrack 7.0 locks on people/pets like magic – even in low light with the little fill light module. Built-in extension rod is clutch for group selfies without looking goofy, and the tripod legs pop out for hands-free setup on the kitchen counter or snowy patio (tested in 20°F weather, no issues). Battery lasts forever – got 8-9 hours easy filming holiday vids. Magnetic clamp snaps my phone on quick, charges it too if needed. Way better than relying on phone stabilization alone. If you’re in Utah and want smooth outdoor/family content without lugging big gear, grab this. Worth every penny.

Probably one of the best upgrades I’ve done for my business.The only thing I dislike is that if you move too fast the sensor will not catch you. The other thing is that the button to turn on/off the device is very sensitive and you could turn it on without realizing it.Love the versatility of this device. Smooth operations. Great Product, Better Seller!!
Product is awesome. Seller is even Better: received product and went out of town to wedding. Got working However it appeared I was missing the tracking attachment. I sent seller a note – ansking If I was missing something and Also I indicated I may have left it in the box and I’ll check when I get back in town. Whoever responds first was my thought. Within 24hrs, seller called me direct and apologized. The manufacturer sent out a shipment without this piece in the factory sealed packages. I was told how it would be made right and I let them know not to sweat the small stuff. He was surprised, several he spoke to were quite upset at him and his company / etc. if you are one of those people reading this: Hakuna Matata. The original product was factory sealed- this is one of those things that just happens – nobody’s fault. They made it right and we all move on.Thank you for the awesome customer service and the product!

The Upgrade I’ve Been Waiting For!
The DJI Osmo Mobile 8 is exactly what the 7 should’ve been. It has a sweet 360° rotation, a Barrel Roll mode(definitely my favorite feature, but could slightly be improved if they offered a full 360° barrel roll in future updates/upgrades). As for the battery, this gimbal easily lasts me all day(9-10hrs for me). It’s super lightweight, and I love that it can even charge my phone while shooting.As for the included multifunctional module— this thing’s a HUGE bonus! Adjustable light, AI tracking for people and pets, and a seamless audio/video sync when paired with the DJI Mic Mini. For fast, creative, “run-and-gun” mobile shooting, this thing is a beast.I use it daily as a social media manager filming barndominium homes, and after weeks of heavy use, this thing has been easy to handle and flawless. I’ll add one more note and mention that the fact that that DJI finally added support for Apple DockKit is truly the best thing(You can use this with your iPhone’s native camera app and utilize this gimbal with your phones professional camera features!!).If you’re serious about filming mobile content, this is an easy buy compared to the alternatives because it offers tons of bang for your buck!

La Rivoluzione: Tracking Nativo (Voto: 10/10)Questa è la “Killer Feature”. Fino all’Osmo 6, per avere il tracciamento del volto (ActiveTrack) bisognava registrare dentro l’app DJI Mimo, perdendo spesso qualità o filtri di Instagram/TikTok. Con l’Osmo 8, il tracking è nativo.Come funziona: Il gimbal riconosce il soggetto e lo segue fisicamente mentre usi l’app fotocamera nativa dell’iPhone/Android, o mentre sei in live su Instagram, TikTok o YouTube.Risultato: Posso fare balletti, tutorial di cucina o vlog camminando, usando direttamente le storie di IG, e il gimbal mi segue fluidamente. Mai più vincoli software.🎙️ 2. Audio e Microfono (Voto: 9/10)DJI ha integrato un ricevitore wireless nel corpo del gimbal che si interfaccia perfettamente con i nuovi DJI Mic Mini (spesso venduti in bundle o a parte). Molto comodo.⚖️ PRO e CONTRO in sintesi✅ PRO:Tracking Nativo: Funziona su TUTTE le app (IG, TikTok, Zoom, FaceTime). the mobile version:an excellent product for content creation, for all those who are avid videographers or use their mobiles extensively for videos or photos shoot, this provides a much needed and flexible option. i love its tracking function and it’s ability to go 360 degrees. takes a little time to get used to it’s flow and the functioning of the various buttons but once you have mastered it, you the king of content creation. go ahead and purchase without any worries. Good for android and apple mobiles.

Das war mein erster Gimbal und genau das merkt man am Anfang. Der Einstieg ist nicht selbsterklärend. Man muss lernen, wie man einen Gimbal richtig hält, bewegt und einstellt. Wer erwartet, ihn einzuschalten und sofort perfekte Videos zu bekommen, liegt falsch. Das ist kein Spielzeug, sondern ein Werkzeug.Eine sehr große Hilfe ist die DJI Mimo App. Die geführten Tutorials sind sinnvoll aufgebaut und praxisnah. Konkrete Szenarien wie ein Spaziergang im Wald werden Schritt für Schritt erklärt. Einstellungen, Modi und Bewegungen werden verständlich vermittelt. Dadurch bekommt man auch als Anfänger schnell ein Gefühl dafür, was der Gimbal kann und wie man ihn richtig nutzt.Ohne die App wäre der Einstieg deutlich frustrierender.Ich verwende ein Galaxy S25 Plus mit Hülle, und der Gimbal kommt damit problemlos klar. Das Smartphone sitzt sicher in der Halterung, nichts wackelt und nichts rutscht. Balance, Tracking und Stabilisierung funktionieren auch mit Hülle zuverlässig. Man muss das Case nicht abnehmen, was im Alltag ein klarer Vorteil ist und zeigt, dass der Gimbal ausreichend Reserven hat.Die 3-Achsen-Stabilisierung arbeitet zuverlässig. Bewegungen wirken ruhig und kontrolliert, auch beim Gehen. Das native Tracking hält Motive stabil im Bild. Die 360-Grad-Schwenkrotation eröffnet kreative Möglichkeiten, ist aber nichts, was man nebenbei nutzt. Auch hier braucht es Übung.Der integrierte Verlängerungsstab und das Stativ sind praktisch und sparen zusätzliches Zubehör. Der Griff liegt gut in der Hand, auch bei längeren Aufnahmen. Die Akkulaufzeit ist realistisch und reicht problemlos für einen ganzen Tag Filmen. Dass das Smartphone während der Nutzung geladen werden kann, ist ein echter Mehrwert.Fazit:Der DJI Osmo Mobile 8 ist ein sehr guter Gimbal mit starker Stabilisierung, durchdachten Features und solider Verarbeitung. Er richtet sich nicht an Leute, die keine Lust haben zu lernen. Wer bereit ist, sich einzuarbeiten, bekommt saubere, professionelle Smartphone-Aufnahmen. Für Einsteiger geeignet, aber nur mit Geduld.
