Was quite surprised how well this keyboard is designed. I had recently purchased the new A16 11th Gen iPad and wanted an external keyboard that somewhat matched the Magic Keyboard I use for my 4th Gen iPad Air but did not want to fork out that kind of money. For the price and the functionality of this keyboard, I am very pleased.

Nice lightweight keyboard case with trackpad — not what I expected though
I had been looking at these keyboard cases for my A16 2025 iPad. I have been using a homemade MagSafe stand and a standard Apple Magic Keyboard all connected to a very thin piece of wood, so I needed something a little more polished.To be Ghonest, I thought this one was more like the Apple model with a hinge that allowed the iPad to center more of its weight over the keyboard and not tip over when tilting the iPad backwards like most of these keyboard do. To my surprise, this was not the design of this keyboard at all, but more of a fixed position arrangement. You attach the iPad to the magnets of the top part of the keyboard case and then the bottom of the iPad just rests on the keyboard in a little slot. This works well when working on a table or desk, but a get a little more unstable when trying to use it on your lap or other various position other than the traditional office worker position.Like many of the cheaper keyboard/trackpad combination devices I have used, the side effect of accidentally touching the trackpad with your hand while you are typing does happen and suddenly you are typing in the middle of some other place entirely. I will say this is not as bad as some keyboard/trackpad combinations I have used before, but it happened about 5-6 times while typing this review. You can disable the trackpad with Fn+spacebar key combo if this really gets in the way. If you were going to sit down and do some serious text input, I would disable the trackpad and use a mouse with it.Since it has a trackpad jammed on the edge of the keyboard, they had to remove the dedicated function key row and have a Fn+ shortcut key combo to adjust the volume, etc.Keyboard types pretty well and I like the feel overall. Feels a little better than the 360 degree rotation keyboard case I also reviewed.The case is very light weight and it has a good feel. It is lacking an ESC key, which is not good IMHO and the mute and Mission Control keys are missing too as compared to the Apple Magic Keyboard, which is the gold standard for Apple products.The magnetic connection for the iPad is good, but it also doesn’t offer as much protection for the iPad as a real iPad case, but it does make the whole thing a bit lighter. Also since this keyboard case is not designed to work with an existing case, when you detach your iPad, it is naked and unprotected.Overall, I think for the price, it is a good buy if you primarily type on flat surfaces, like tables, desks or at the coffee shop.

I love it! The keyboard always stays connected through bluetooth and the battery life is very long! It has a sleek look and it is light weight which is another plus. The keys light up making it easy to see!

I’m actually not sure what generation mine is and how to figure that out.I eventually ended up getting the proper size and am so pleased with it, I love the style of the case, the cantilever style makes it easy to open the screen and keep it open without having to physically prop it up and constantly adjust the tilt. This keyboard case essentially turns an iPad into a laptop, to the point that I now just use my iPad instead of my laptop. The magnet is nice and strong and I have no worries about my iPad slipping off.The keys are fairly easy to type on, maybe a bit small, but I think that’s to be expected, given the limited size of the screen of the iPad. One of my small complaints is the trackpad, I’m constantly brushing against it when I type and can’t figure out how to turn it off, so I occasionally tap it the wrong way and find myself in a different window.One other thing to note is the weight the keyboard case adds, it makes a lightweight iPad a bit bulky and heavy for carrying in a purse or backpack, but at the same time makes it feel like it’s protected.Turns my iPad into a laptop, great keyboard case, a little heavy, but worth it
