Got this for my daughter who is starting college. Instead of buying a full laptop, she wanted an iPAD to work her projects. It is light and fits perfectly in her bag. The keyboard is removable, so she does have to store the keyboard in her bag. Functionality for college and the color works for her.

They fit our iPads great. We have been using them for a few days now. The only negative would be the notch where the iPad sits upright isn’t quite deep enough to hold it when the keyboard isn’t in place. Besides that we love them so far. If they hold up well, we would definitely purchase again in the future.

Solid budget keyboard case – bright backlight, strong hinge, a little bulky
I picked this keyboard case for two reasons – I wanted my iPad to behave like a small laptop for meetings, and I wanted a cover I could wipe clean after being tossed in a backpack. After a week of use, it hits those marks with a couple of quirks worth knowing.Pairing the keyboard took seconds and the connection has stayed solid with no typing lag. The keys have a springy feel and decent travel, and the 7-color backlight is more than decoration – in low light the legends remain clear, and the LED is subtle rather than flashy. The magnetic attachment is strong enough that the board doesn’t slide while typing, yet it lifts off easily when I want tablet-only mode. Charging over USB-C is tidy – the port cutout lines up correctly and the plug seats cleanly – and battery life has been excellent so far. It also wakes quickly after the 10-minute sleep.The case itself feels sturdier than the price suggests. The hinge rotates smoothly through 360 degrees and the detent has enough resistance that the screen doesn’t droop once set. The grooves for the two viewing angles are grippy with the keyboard in place, and I like being able to switch to portrait for reading. The shell snaps on squarely with no flex at the corners, and the finish wipes clean with a damp cloth.A few tradeoffs showed up in daily use. The whole package is bulkier than a slim folio, so couch or bed use is awkward – it really shines on a table. Without the keyboard, the front groove is a bit shallow and doesn’t anchor the iPad as securely. There’s no sleep-wake magnet, so I tap the power button before closing. The keyboard footprint is compact; fine for notes and emails, but I wouldn’t draft an essay on it every day. Finally, the purple cover looks great, but the clear back shows fingerprints if you’re picky.Bottom line: a surprisingly capable budget combo that turns an iPad into a more productive setup at a desk. Great for students, travel days, and anyone who wants a detachable, backlit keyboard and a wipeable case – as long as you accept the extra bulk and manual screen sleep.
