Solid replacement for old tower
Replaced my wife’s old Tower computer with this. She does some desktop publishing and some graphics like creating greeting cards, editing photographs and such. This computer performs very well at those things. I purchased a 2 TB additional SDD, so it’s got room for all of her pics and docs for years.If you don’t need a high speed gaming platform, I would definitely recommend this. Low cost, low energy use, silent (no noisy fans), small footprint (fits under her monitor stand), always on, and we got the Windows 11 upgrade to boot.

UPDATE To Review 11-20-2025:Two years later and I’m now experiencing a slight issue with the HDMI. The TV will flicker once every 10-15 minutes. It only happens when using the mini PC. All other devices are fine.I thought it might be the cable I had. I replaced the cable and it still had the issue. I switched the input for the pc entirely to see if that one port on my TV was jacked up. No, it flickered on all 5 HDMI ports on my TV. I changed the resolution(s) and refresh rate(s) to no avail.Thought maybe the new HDMI was bunk so I bought brand new 2.1’s for every device in my house. Even with the new new cables, it still flickered on all available inputs.So, like in my first review of this product; I paid $105 for it. For the price and the fact I got two good years out of it, I can’t complain. For the new asking price, I wouldn’t buy it. $125 max is what I’d say this device is worth.I’ll be unfortunately switching from beelink to another brand since beelink appears to either have gotten greedy or tariff’s are screwing with their business.There’s mini-pc’s available with better processors for the price. —————-Original Review;This replaced the Fire Cube we were using. The Cube was old and getting very slow. It was annoying.I did my research and decided to give this a shot. It’s fairly small and compact. It fits under my 55inch TV on the stand. I have it paired with a nice sound bar.It’s been able to stream in 4K with no issues. I bought a wireless mouse and mini-keyboard for it. They work very well in my opinion. I use my Beats Bluetooth headphones with it almost every night and it hasn’t had any connection issues or anything. For the sale price I paid, $105, it’s worth it.

This Beelink Mini Computer has proved so far to be a surprisingly good value. It is quicker than its specs would imply, and has operated flawlessly from day one. It runs quietly, and according to my IR thermometer it stays between 86 and 90 degrees F.Initially I hesitated over the 8GB RAM provided, though it is upgradable to 16. In use, no gaming, but moderate Photoshop activity, it has proven more than adequate, maybe to to the DDR5 performance.The system is running two 27 inch 4K monitors without any issues. and feeding multiple USB drives via a powered hub.I will likely upgrade the M.2 drive to the max 2TB, and the same for the empty SSD slot.In summary, I feel this is a great value, especially considering the low cost.

Hard to beat such a small component with the power/speed of a desktop. Came with Win 11. I use it for amateur radio software operations. Using only 12V helps when it comes to power consumption. Will attach to the back of a small monitor similar to Pi. No more coding, yay!

The Alder Lake QuickSync is out of this world to transcode anything.BUT – the USB plugs are problematicUSB-C: Tried a lot of different configurations (2x lenovo docks, 2x Dell dock+screen, simple USB-C –> DP converter) and it just doesn’t work – so it’s effectively 2 monitors instead of 1.Several ports of the dock drop out or don’t get recognized properlyUSB-A: the plugs at the front are also funky. I think it traces back to not having enough power, but they don’t recognize some drives or converters (USB-ethernet in this case). This is fine for my 3.5″ power external drive but won’t support the little 2.5in USB-powered drives.Also the pci-e 1x bottleneck on the SSD is very irritating for some uses, but if it’s just a media box that’s fine (e.g., takes forever to install windows updates or synchronize blockchains)

Gran expectativa me causó; sin embargo, finalmente no funcionó y tuve que regresarla. El empaque bien, los aditamentos bien, calidad del material, pues según el precio. Prendió bien, sin ruido, no se calentó. El problema inició cuando inició con las actualizaciones de Windows 11, nunca terminó de instalar las actualizaciones, se quedó en la pantalla donde se pide no apagar ni desenchufar para la instalación, así durante más de 6 ó 7 horas, por lo que ya nunca volvió a arrancar normalmente. La devolví, espero que en algunos años ya se hayan resuelto los problemas de este tipo en este tipo de ordenadores económicos y creo que sí serán una opción buena, bonita, barata y, sobre todo, funcional.
