This case is great!
This Beats rugged case is great and is even greater when you can get it on sale! It’s very sturdy and well designed. Unlike other reviews here I don’t find it to be slippery. Also some of the reviews and pictures here are clearly not of this case. I like that the speaker and the USB connection aren’t exposed like in other Beats cases. All in all this is a very good case.

Sleek Design, But Lighter Color and Less Coverage Than Expected
The Beats iPhone 17 Pro Case with MagSafe looks sleek and fits the phone well, and MagSafe charging works reliably with strong magnet alignment. It’s slim and doesn’t add much bulk, but the overall feel is just okay for the price. The Limestone color is much lighter than I expected, almost washed out, and the case doesn’t provide as much coverage as I thought, especially around the edges. The matte finish is also a bit slippery and doesn’t offer much grip, and after some use it starts to show wear faster than expected. It does the basics well, but it doesn’t feel as premium or protective as I’d expect for the cost.

The workmanship is exquisite, the fit is perfect, and the quality is excellent. The only drawback is that it’s a bit slippery, and I’m constantly worried about dropping it.

Terrible Materials!
Should have listened to all the other reviews. This case looks great. However, like many of the other reviewers have mentioned, the quality of this case is terrible! For a $60 case, you’d expect it to be on par with Otterbox or Apple cases. I’ve had this case for one day and after the first time using Magsafe charging, you can clearly see a ring imprinted on the back of the case. The back of the case already show signs of peeling as well from the heat generated from wireless charging. Furthermore, the matte case is so slippery that it would slide right off any surface with ease. I can see that the R&D department really failed here and the only thing “premium” about this case is the Beats name, unfortunately…

Minimal case, very good for what it’s intended to be.
I think this case is getting a lot of undeserved negative reviews. It’s a very minimal case, if you want that it’s great. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t as slippery as people made it out to be. Is it grippy, no, but it’s not like handling a wet eel. It slides in and out of your pockets well and is easy to hold and operate the phone with one hand. I’ve always loved the open bottom cases for swiping up and was sad to see so few out there, these are in rare supply. It’s probably not going to survive a big drop, but most cases don’t protect the screen any better, most times I’ve damaged them by the front hitting something after being dropped and any case doesn’t protect from that. It looks good too being so sleek.

The case is a bit slippery as noted in other reviews, but not too slippery for me. With my lPhone in this case, the phone goes in and out of a pocket easily. The molded in “nubs” help with grip. The case fits absolutely perfectly on my iPhone 17 Pro Max, and the buttons work smoothly – better than any other case I’ve ever used. Overall the case feels sturdy with excellent quality, and it seems like it will offer good protection for a drop. The edges of the case around openings, front and back, are raised just enough to protect the glass screen and camera lenses. I like the smooth case does not collect dirt and lint like silicone cases do.

Perfect Fit, Better Protection Than Apple’s Own Case
Picked up the Beats Rugged Case with MagSafe and Camera Control for my iPhone 17 Pro in Sierra Orange, and I’m genuinely impressed. It fits the phone every bit as precisely as Apple’s own case — that same snug, confidence-inspiring snap when you install it — but with one key improvement: the protective edges.The lip around the screen and the raised edge around the camera plateau are both slightly higher than Apple’s version. Not obnoxiously thick, just enough to give you that extra bit of security when the phone is face-down or sliding around on a work surface. As someone who’s around tools and hard surfaces all day, that subtle bump in protection is exactly what I was after.MagSafe works flawlessly, the buttons feel crisp, and the colour looks even better in person. If you like Apple’s fit and finish but want just a touch more safety for the screens and lenses, this case nails it.Highly recommended.

Stylish, and works, but not well enough
Color matches the phone pretty well, and I did actually drop it once or twice, and I feel confident it would protect the phone moving forward. However, two major gripes:1. The charging cable port is extremely sharp. If I hold the phone with a pinky in a certain way, it really hurts. Almost to the point where I feel like it’s cutting into my skin. (Doesn’t, but it sure feels like it.) The charging cable port also doesn’t allow for many of my cables to fit, believe it or not.2. It’s extremely slippery. Even with the grippy edges, it fell out of my hands more than once, and it likes to slide around. Just doesn’t offer enough grip.I’d also likely not be able to recommend it if you plan on using a MagSage wallet or something similar, as the grippy portion and smooth portion don’t appear to lend itself to using an attachment, though this comment is mostly speculation.These factors plus the crazy cost (I had some gift credit, so it was thankfully cheaper for me personally) mean this isn’t the case I’ll end up using, as much as I dig the color.

Very slippy, disappointed with it as it’s just way too slippy. iPhone will fall out of your hands with this slippy case. I wouldn’t buy again, bought a real leather cover instead.
