Under no circumstances should you consider a lighting routine without examining this product first install it and then see what your needs are it can go on the ceiling it can go on the floor it can go anywhere in the light is fantastic. Buy something else. These lights were great, for about a month. Then they started flickering after a month and now they do not turn on at all. I believe the power brick/rotary dimmer is busted. I would like to get replacement power bricks and dimmers but there is no correspondance with the company. Buy something else, don’t waste your time and/or money on these.

Great for Closets!!
I am remodeling my Master Bath. The closet in this house is a bit deep (30 in.) and dark. I installed these on the inside door trim. Due to the custom wiring, I have an outlet on the inside of the closet, so it made hiding all wiring very easy. I really like how it just lights up the closet nicely.The reason for the 4 stars is only because the small instruction booklet they give you is mostly focused on how to use the QR code so you can use the app. on your phone. I was hoping for more installing assistance. Thankfully I have installed tape lighting before, so I knew to cut the extra at the copper joint between sections.As for the light tape, I do like that it uses 3M adhesive. It’s clearly marked. ALSO, the lights themselves, are inside of thick, clear, soft plastic. I mention this because as I pulled back the paper for the adhesive so I can install these… I was able to, with some pressure, just run my finger up and down the light strip to assure they were stuck to the trim. The lights are fully sealed.Last, the remote has some nice options for dimming. the controller on the wall (in the photo) in addition to a simple on/off switch, it does offer basic dimming/brightness buttons above/below the power button. This has made a nice addition to my remodel.

Die im Datenblatt ausgewiesenen 96 Watt werden bei weitem nicht erreicht. Schon deshalb nicht, da das beigefügte Netzteil nur max. 36 Watt liefern kann. Laut Verkäufer wäre das Netzteil aber ausreichend, da die Leistungsaufnahme der LEDs massiv gesenkt werden konnte und dabei nur 10 % Lichtleistung verloren gegangen sind. Ob es stimmt, lässt sich ohne aufwändigen Messaufbau nicht kontrollieren, stimmt aber zumindest nicht mit dem Datenblatt überein.Im ungedimmten Betrieb wird das Netzteil sehr warm, eher schon heiß und es kommt in unregelmäßigen Abständen vor, dass die LEDs blinken. Die Leistungsaufnahme liegt bei 38 Watt, es wird also zu 100% aus- bzw. sogar überlastet. Bei Volllastbetrieb empfiehlt sich ein stärkeres Netzteil. Im gedimmten Zustand erzeugt der Dimmer hochfrequente Töne, den einen stört es, der andere hört es nicht.Das abgestrahlte Licht ist angenehm und durchaus hell.Mit einem besseren Netzteil wären es 5 Sterne.
