Fun to build and drive
My boys (upper elementary) enjoyed building this robot. Evidently, only the builds with caterpillar tracks are motorized, but it’s given them a week of enjoyment so far. They have driven it smoothly over rugs and extension cords. Would definitely buy more if they were under $30.

Fun and Engaging Build with Minor Assembly Challenges
This robot building kit is a fun and challenging project. My 10-year-old put it together and really enjoyed the building process, especially that it has a remote control once completed. The pieces fit together well overall, and the finished robot works as expected, which was great to see after putting in the time to build it.That said, some of the pieces were very small and a bit tedious to assemble, especially for a younger builder. A few parts also required shaving off extra plastic from where they were attached to the frame so they would fit properly. Those issues were a little frustrating, but not deal-breakers.Overall, it’s a solid STEM toy that encourages problem-solving and creativity, and my child was proud of the final result. A good kit, just be prepared for some detailed assembly.

Instruction difficult for age group
The pieces went together good and it worked the way it was suppose to, there was one thing that was a little difficult and that was the instructions, they were difficult to understand for the age group.

I ordered this kit for my 7-year-old, who is really into LEGO, as a more affordable alternative. It turned out to be a great choice.I love that one set includes five different builds, which is perfect for a kid who enjoys not only playing with the finished creation but also taking it apart and rebuilding it in new ways. While a few of the pieces didn’t snap together quite as smoothly as the name-brand version, it wasn’t a deal breaker and just required a little help.Pairing the finished build with the app was simple and straightforward. I also appreciate the flexible power options—you can recharge it using a USB cable (not included, but we already have plenty) or use your own batteries.Overall, this is a solid, budget-friendly alternative to higher-priced LEGO sets and a great option for young STEM-minded kids.

My son loves this
My 7 year old spent a whole afternoon building this robot from this kit and was rewarded with a robot that moved and responded to the remote control. This was a surprisingly simple though still complex kit and I only had to help my kid once or twice with some smaller parts that he needed to reposition. If your kid likes to tinker with electronics and tools, and loves robots, I cannot recommend this kit enough. Everything needed to build and play is included, except the USB adapter for connecting the wire to start charging the rechargeable battery, but you do have the option to use regular batteries instead.

What a fun throwback build
To start off,the building of this had its fun and easy parts, but it also had some more technical parts where you really hadto pay attention to the directions, which are not always easy to interpret. Overall, it was fun though. It is a quality piece and even after bumping into random things around the house, basically stayed together.It functions well enough, as it seems like all my controls are backwards, it may have just been how my controller was made or maybe its how its supposed to be, but forward is back and left is right. After messing around with it for a bit, I managed to kinda get comfortable with the controls, by no means am I efficient with it though.This product is a great gift for people whole like to play with and or buildWith this type of building block, and it does bring with it some challenges, which were great. It’s worth the investment especially since it is a throwback figure, but to say any name but “NO DISASSEMBLE…” You get it.
